One of the things I love about this series is you can see how the NCR adapted their tactics to the wasteland since they started off in Shady Sands. There’s your standard line grunts with ARs and other mass producible weapons, then you got snipers armed with less replicatable but stronger sniper rifle style weapons. Then we got the presumed precursor to the NcR power armor troopers, that being the men in basically trench raider armor who are also enhancing their combat prowess via chems. Super mutants are being used likely to carry both particularly heavy weapons and to side in logistics. And then there’s the NCR Rangers. And that’s to say nothing on how Sodaz shows them adapting to various things the BoS try to do to counter the NCR’s capabilities. Most of this fight in the multi part video series Sodaz has done, the BoS have felt like they’re in the back foot, basically up until they bring forward the sentry bots.

Never forget it wasn't Gamesworkshop that did in Sodaz it was the "fans" that said the most heinous shit you can imagine to which he has stated he will never touch 40k again. Obviously Astartes took the spotlight and attention during that time but alot of people got screwed.

I was there when he posted that video explaining everything shortly before he deleted the video. My man got hired by gamesworkshop then got death threats by he fans because he wasn't "standing up for the fanbase" and "Selling out" amidst the fan made content fiasco. He was so upset he packed up everything and just left. The fandom is just absolutely the worst. And there are still some people out there in the comment section just keeps saying it was Games Workshop who chased him out.

Well, in this case the techno-barbarians won, the war between the Brotherhood of Steel and the NCR it was after they both teamed up to defeat the Enclave. The Brotherhood wanted New California to be submissive to them and give up all their technology, obviously the NCR did not like it and went to war, despite the Brotherhood of Steel having superior technology, the NCR won in number, that is, for each of the Brotherhood of Steel there were 20 from the NCR and the people of New California knew the region better, in addition to inventing their version of the Anti-Materia Rifle that pierces the Power Armors. In the end the Brotherhood was defeated to the point that they were expelled from all of California and the surrounding area and only a small bunker of them was left in New Vegas.

Honestly fallout probably is the most accurate depiction of how power armor would be used which is to make weapons typically not easy to use while mobile more easily available to troops needing support

Fallout power armor kinda feels like a sort of one person APC. It can take more punishment than your average suit of combat armor, but it can’t defend against tank grade weapons obviously. Its advantage is that it puts the fire power of a squad in the hands of one man with the armor of an APC while mostly keeping the maneuverability of a person. It’s far better suited to use in rough/mountainous terrain over apc or tanks, while being able to bring up something close to the armor and firepower. In conclusion, fallout power armor is both relatively realistic, and some good shit

A top 3 of mine. 1: fallout 2: stalker 3: Titanfall. titanfall is 3rd place because my only gripe is that there weren’t many TF1 imc grunts (they simply have the better drip). im really struggling to find a link with this Fallout animation and the 40k universe. like ye everything is kind of cannon but Fallout is probably one of a few things that can't possibly be cannon. like humanity had spread across the stars by the time the men of iron started to rebel.
