Do you know if Mythic updated the music at some point? I was thinking of when I first played in 2002 and have listened to some of your videos and found sounds in areas to be different than my memory.

This is quite possible but I have no idea if they changed the music. On a side note, Campacorentin (Albion) no longer has ambient music (or ambient sounds) day or night and I have seen old videos where it DID have music such as: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWfXn5uGmpl-Zrc . I even tried reinstalling the game and the Campacorentin music still did not return. So make of that what you will. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ My curiosity piqued, I checked a 2014 video, kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZnEgqmnjKyFadk and it appears correct in its attribution of the music with the zones (except Malmohus is actually the same music as Avalon City, not Mularn and Sknona Ravine). More research is needed.

They changed some of the music for some areas/towns, but I don't really know at which point. Like you, I use to play back on 2002, but I came back to Daoc last year. I first realized that, on Jordeim, Tir Na Nog and Camelot they changed the main songs, the same as for a huge amount of towns, like Mag Mell on Hibernia.

@@Merkwuerdichliebe my first start to game was the starting zone in Campacorentin Station and the music as you enter the forest was defiantly there back then . when went back station you the drums . fond music of that forest and times playing there.

Does Fomor and Trollheim have there own ambient music?

Fomor has one of the various "dungeon" soundtracks which is the usual dark, foreboding stuff (not what we would normally call music, see kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmLHiJduarycqMk ). Same with Krondon. I haven't made it into the high-level dungeons like Trollheim, Caer Sidi, and such but if they are more "outdoorsy" like Avalon City and less "dungeony" then they may very well have standard ambient music.
