Congratulations! I'm a former midwife and I thought a few month ago you looked pregnant. We'll be here when you have time. My kids are 6.5 years apart and it's amazing how much help she was- and she loved it. They were always and still are close.

I never comment but you are phenomenal at explaining everything in detail. Thank you for providing the reasoning behind each step, its importance & what to look out for to know we are doing it right! Very few pastry KZbinrs are excellent teachers like you! 👏💕👍 Please make a video on making vanilla custard filled rectangular croissants! There are no videos on KZbin on how to make those. But I buy them all the time at French pâtisseries. Some shops call them vanilla portefeulle?

Hello Aya, your chocolate madeleine recipe is amazing! My madeleines came out very fluffy and yummy. However, I can’t achieve the hump… 😢 I used a silicone madeleine mold. Is there any secret to achieving the hump? The hump makes the madeleines look so cute 😍😃

Was the mold greased when you put the chocolate on it ? I'm not sure whether the chocolate will stick to it or not..

Congratulations dear 🙂 Thank you so much for this beautiful recipe Would be kind enough to make a video dedicated for chocolate termpering? I have Callebaut Power 41 milk chocolate , i tried the seeding method, however chocolate gets thickened and hardened very quickly and before the chocolate reaches the cooling temperature which is 29-28 and even before it reaches the working temperature which is 30-29 c 😢 Any idea why?

Was it a couverture chocolate? Non couverture chocolate gets thick very easily during the tempering process. Or it also happens when any liquid goes in or the chocolate is overheated.

Hey Aya, quick question! I noticed that your madeleine recipes are different than most others who call for genoise-base batter, where eggs are whipped to max volume. Is there a reason for that? Love your recipes btw, and congrats on the newborn baby ❤

I’m not baker, just baking for my family... but as far as I learned from my experience whisking eggs for madeleines is waste of efforts, because you’ll have to bake it as soon as you mix everything together because air bubbles starting deflated once you add flower, and especially butter/oils, not to mention letting rest in the fridge for long time

I'm curious to know how it works out! I've never tried it but it should work ok as long as it is a non-stick pan. And adjust the baking time, I am guessing it'll get baked faster, if it's about the same size.
