FLOOR 10 BACK ROOM OF THE FOREST DUNGEON IS THE BEST GRIND SPOT FOR YOUR WEAPONS. The only enemies there are werewolves. They drop 24 abs per kill and you can bounce back and forth between the back floor and the actual level as much and as long as you want and all enemies respawn upon entering, however, if you somehow get the limited zone for "reduced abs" on floor 10 of Wise owl forest, it stays that way, and the only way to get rid of it, is, unfortunately to restart your ENTIRE FILE. ( this happened to me once and I was SO PISSED)

One thing this review is missing is that at it's core like most dungeon raider games is that this is a grinding game. I believe the developers intended players to take characters they unlock back to easier dungeons on more frequent runs to level up their gear. The more you do that the more likely you are to encounter weapon chests and chests with backroom keys.

I love this game series, especially the first. It was the second game I ever beat the first being Final Fantasy Mystic quest. I think my parents found out about the first game from my uncle and mayby even persuaded them to get a PS2. I typically always status break 1 weapon and put it on the next then get said next weapon up to lv5 before going to dran. Each new character goes through at least the previous dungeons level before moving back to current progress and doing this keeps everyone about the same power level.
