Can anyone explain to me how, in the game's storyline, the mysery chests in the villages appear? I'm guessing it has something to do with this boss and I know that the game explains it but I can't find anything.

Boss stragedy: Switch to ungaga and use his staff to spin the shadow but becareful because this guy deals a tons of damage. Once the shadow is away from the coffin, switch to toan and strike the coffin. You can damage the coffin only one per strike from the staff. Remenber you got plenty of room here so keep moving to avoid taking damage. He doesn't attack you at all. He moves pretty fast. He damages you from 35-50 points per hit based on your defense points.

Well, you can actually get Ultimate weapons when you're in the third dungeon. If you go into the back floor on level 14 or so, the enemies drop massive exp and you can get tons of gems. I had Toan's and Xiao's ultimates by the time I left. I have the 7 Branch Sword on my new file, and I haven't even beaten the forest dungeon either. But yeah, the Oasis does make things go by a lot faster. I still prefer the back floors though.

this is what i do u get the serpent sword build it up into the sevent heavent. then get a shamshir and build it up to the chronicle sword i always get the chronicle sword first. this was one of my first ps2 games but then my ps2 broke so i got a ps3 now i have to start over i got up to the ice queen and i forgot how to beat her

I love the music in this boss fight! And on another note, upon replaying the game for the first time in years ( and FINALLY beating it, LOL) I have to say... this boss was hilariously easy!!

eh, it took me 10 minutes to pwn this guy, but it took me 3 minutes to find out i wasn't doing any damage and that he was made from wind. once i found out you had to use the wind attack, it was all clear there. didn't die once.

You build them up by attaching gems or attachments, and upgrading, get the gems by fishing instead of buying them, use the money to buy bait it's much cheaper. :) All the best!

They is another way to beat him and it is 1.Use Ungaga's WhirlWind to blow to the smoke away. 2.Use a Stamina Potion on Ruby and equip your best armband with Holy element and blast the son of a gun. 3.Rinse and Repeat to beat him.

For some reason when I was younger, the combination of the music and his form scared me. But when I fought him, I was really disappointed. He was the easiest boss in the game. La Saia and the Dark Genie were harder, especially the second form.

Well - compared to the other method - it's easy, if your timing is right. I think I beat that boss without gems when I was a kid, but every time I've played it since, just load up a few gems and end it quicker, ha. Great game, though, one of my favorites.

I played the game again and fought La Saia the other day. And it is indeed really, really easy if you just grab a bunch of fire gems and start chucking them at her - hell, doing it that way, with the right timing, you won't even get hit once. Now, fighting her without gems - no. Fuck that. Takes entirely too long. But King's Curse is pretty laughably easy, fought that again tonight. Just use's Ungaga's spin trick, and then have Toan slash the coffin - and it isn't even a fight.

i used the dude with the stick to get him like that coffin then used ruby :D did it maybe two mins my 2nd time playing through the game 1st time was like HELL at this boss XD

Honestly - there's nothing to this boss fight. Just use the fighting stick wind gust, then hit the coffin with the sword - and he pretty much won't hurt you. The ice queen can be either ridiculously easy or difficult - maybe about medium difficulty. Fire gems are the only efficient way of doing it - there's some screwed up method of doing it the 'proper' way but... eh, fuck that, haha.
