He had a solid plan to take a unique Warp energy source, use it to claim Daemonhood, and but for Captain Titus' intervention nearly got away with it and destroy Graia in the process. Lord Araghast would had top spot if Eliphas had not successfully betrayed him - on top of having personality, he is actually quite competent both in strategy and in combat, to say nothing of his 'burnt a thousand worlds' record.

"By the hands even" The hands of what...and what you seem to be misunderstanding is that the game is always weighted towards the player. And when it boils down to it, if you have a strong defensive/offensive strategy, you will defeat against any foe.

Its really cute how they tried to make it undivided, but its always been about Khorne, no one can disagree with that. I don't even remember ever hearing anything about Slaanesh in this until just now. No idea why any Sorcerer has ever been keen on getting their blood god on. I forget were there any Nurgle units in DOW 1, or its expansions?

When Chaos Undivided conducts a military operation, Tzeentch handles the planning, Nurgle handles the supplies, Slaanesh handles the communications, and Khorne sends in the actual boots on the ground, apparently.

During Eliphas’ crusade on Kronus, Eliphas was given ample opportunities to gain favour with the Ruinous Powers and other Chaos figures through the defeat of his enemies. • He can gain Khorne’s favour by offering him the skull of Lord Crull, a Champion of the Blood God slain by the Ork Warboss Gorgutz on the winter world of Lorn V. • He can gain the favour of Slaanesh by cracking open all the Aeldari Spirit Stones left behind when the Aeldari fled Tyrea, and offering the souls within to the Prince of Pleasure. • The favour of Nurgle can be gained by freeing the Plague Daemon imprisoned within the Hellstorm Cannon in Victory Bay, using the rotting corpses of the Imperial Guardsmen as sacrifice. • The favour of Tzeentch can be gained by defeating the Necron army beneath the Thur'Abis plateau. • Warmaster Abaddon the Despoiler, leader of the Black Legion Chaos Marines, can be pleased by defeating the Blood Ravens Space Marines in North Vandea, although it is unknown why the defeat of a Chapter whose history is unknown would be especially pleasing to Abaddon. • The Word Bearers' Daemon Primarch Lorgar can be pleased by defeating the T'au forces in Or'es Tash'n, for Lorgar is said to hate the irreligious above all others.

@fman40000 The furthest back I can find on Eliphas is him fighting against the emperor in the Horus Heresy. He could have been raised to a marine AFTER Lorgar had secretly worshiped Chaos, meaning he may have been evil from the start. And I really doubt Eliphas will turn in DoW2, but i haven't beaten the campaign yet, so who knows.

Khorne just wants his followers to shed blood in his name, Tzeentch wants constant change so any nation built won't last, Nurgle just wants his children to spread plagues, diseases, death and destruction in the mortal realm while Slaanesh wants his followers to enjoy life in excess and pleasure. They don't really want to win, as you've figured :P.

It is really easy. All you got to do with the Blood Ravens is use the Assault Marines to get near the Blood Star that cause the shockwave. Get that out the way, and the rest is all easy.
