DARK KING - Animated Music Video (King Sombra x Radiant Hope)

On April of last year, when the comics featuring the backstories of the villains from mlp I was particularly touched by the story arc of Sombra's past and his relationship with Radiant Hope. I was so enamored by the concept I decided to look for a song and create a video about it.
I knew that for my next big project, I wanted do collaborate with other artists in order to reach a more varied and high quality result. Enter TheMusicReborn, who kindly offered his musical skills to create the instrumental and edit the sound and Mary Medley who was awesome enough to lend her vocal talent.
It has been a long ride for the production of this particular video but I can't be more proud with the end result.

_Beautiful_ artwork and composition. I take it the Radiant Hope in this video never decided to try and stop Sombra, and his original plan from _Siege of the Crystal Empire_ succeeded - only for Radiant to realize later that being with this literal shadow of the one she loved is breaking her apart - literally, even, in the visual representation (which I must again emphasize is excellent. Dang, that shot of a petrified, weeping Amore...). Am I even close, or am I totally off? Great job regardless.

Even though this is based on fictional characters, King Sombra has to be one of my most favorites, and this video gives of such a powerful message about his life both evil and happiest moments. For me I wanted to cry because message was just so powerful mixed with the beautiful music made me want to cry all the more and I don't cry often. Long story short what I am saying is, brilliant work and I hope you continue to make videos just like this one. Keep spreading the pony love.

It's sad, but I know how that feels. My childhood friend that I knew. As we became adults we were still there. But did everything for her. Just like the video that person was a she, while I'm a he. But in the end she had betrayed me. Left me to die, wanted me to suffer. Even now I'm still suffering. And I was left all alone, even now. But just like the comic where she bring him back.
