Fun fact, you can shuffle back a machine with Galatea even if you have no spell/traps to set. This is because the shuffling back effect is the mandatory one, while the setting effect is the optional one. Nice misplay Brent.

Can we talk about the fact hat Danny could've used the Ding to protect himself since it's not an activated effect? (Deus ex only negates activations) Gavone could've used Gala because the sp/tr set eff from gala is optional, it's like the draw eff of engage. Besides that Lea could've used Crusadia Kralwer to summon it to Longirsu and use it's search effect. Like is anyone even reading their cards anymore? As we are slowly and sadly eventually going to come to an end to the Progression Playoffs, I have an idea for a potential season 2. I think someone else may have mentioned it or had the same idea, but it goes like this. Start over from scratch and Duel Monsters, but you get to keep all the cards you opened all the way throughout the Progression Playoffs. So instead of rotating cards out like you guys have been normally, you would just keep them forever. Like Imagine if someone used Poly and summoned a Fusion Neo during this timeline lol. It would also make bans very interesting cuz someone has to ban Orcust or Mine, while the other person has to ban like a GX card. Could be a good idea. I just dont want this series to come to an end.

I get the feeling this series just ends with the last few sets, which is reasonable. I could, however, see a season 2 with the current match system throughout the whole thing, perhaps allowing the players to keep their initial pulls from the sets (thus making each set more impactful, since they're practically opening 2 boxes). Banned cards from season 1 could stay banned, or could be limited for the second season. Maybe each person can choose a starter deck for the era or roll it on a wheel which starter they would get, since that would give each player some good cards, but introduce diversity and a bit of balance, since all of the DM starters each have different, but near-equally powerful broken staples.
