Watched this on TV when it aired in 81...great story, fantastic actors, cinematography is wonderful, and just a creepy movie, especially for television! IF this had ever been a theatrical release, I'm sure there would have been a LOT more blood and probably seeing the Scarecrow more as well! So happy it was a tv movie...no need for gory effects to give it the suspense it has! Thank you for the upload!

Is there anybody reading these comments at this account because I remember watching this movie over 40 years ago as a young boy because right after Bubba died a lot of paranormal activity started to happen starting with that farmer boy who used to drink a lot because he was at a barn, investigating some lights on in the barn and that’s when the chipper shredder had been activated and the farmer boy fell into it, getting chipped apart by the machine killing him instantly.

You know what is so cool about this film-The Writer ✍️ 📝 of this screenplay literally wrote this script to play in movie theaters 🎭 however do to tv ratings they pushed him to give it too CBS in playing it for Halloween 🎃 night on TV 📺, so he gave it without changing anything in the script, so the film we see here is the actual screenplay that would have been shown in theaters I.E. nothing was hardly edited out ☝️👍🥂🎥
