Although I'm not trans, and don't currently know anyone who is, I love watching your videos because there is a breath of logic and reason in them. I know there are many people like me who aren't against people doing whatever it is they want to do; it's when it starts harming children or when it dictates to me how I have to behave that I have a problem. I actually had a MTF trans employee back in around 1992. You remember what those days were like I'm sure. Paranoia was rampant, most people were still in the closet, and the gay clubs were usually in hidden roads in the middle of nowhere. ( I had many gay friends and used to go to clubs with them and keep their secrets). So, my trans employee " Diane". She looked very feminine and passed well. Noone had any problems with her until the women started complaining to me that her feet were pointing the wrong way in the ladies room; they were offended and wanted me to address it. I was 24 years old, and I can tell you, this never came up in management training. So I told her, Look, you obtained this position as a woman. You have a woman's name, dress and carry yourself like a woman. Part of being a woman is that you sit down to pee and feet face forward. What you're doing to these women isn't fair. If you really want to be a woman and act like a woman, and be treated like a woman, then you can't be switching horses midstream. Peeing sitting down is a small price to pay to complete the illusion that you're a woman. If you are going to make a big thing out of this, insist on Peeing standing up and making the other women uncomfortable, then use the men's room and you can pee standing up to your hearts content. But choose. She chose to pee sitting down and stay in the ladies room. There are a lot of issues that come up like this because for some really left activists, it isn't enough for them to get what they want ( to be treated as the other sex). They have to make up their own words and force others to use them, or pee standing up in the ladies room. A little respect and compromise on both sides can go a long way

When I was 17 I was “woke” too. It was during the pandemic and I made a lot of online friends who identified as all sorts of things. At that point, I used to identify as a abrosexual genderfluid person, and I used to love feeling like I belonged in a community. Now I’m almost 20, living real life and I feel like a lot of those thoughts were not me. Yes, I do feel masculine and I would love to date girls, buts it’s just cause I’m a bi tomboy, and that’s okay. I had a lot of friends who were younger than me who wanted to start hormones(FTM), but after a few months they all didn’t feel like they were trans anymore. And that really opened my eyes. Because if someone can switch their minds so easily, then what would be the consequences of using hormones? Do kids have to live in lifelong misery because of a “phase” during their developing years?im so glad many people are speaking up against this because it’s just mind boggling how so many people do not have basic common sense. (Excuse my English, I’ve forgotten how to make sentences)

The woke agenda I feel like is a way to basically destroy the identity of a generation not to mention make them reliant on the medical industrial system for the rest of their life. I’m all for trans adults you do you however kids should not be indoctrinated especially at school. School is for education not to mold what you are in life. That’s what parents and family is for.

im similar i was around a lot of "woke" ppl, i've probably identified as everything under the sun between 12 and 15 tbh. I realized i didn't dislike my gender, i just didn't like myself. I'm a biological female, i'm a girl and i'm bisexual. That was what i originally thought before i was exposed to "woke" tiktok.Needless to say 11 year old me was right, i'm just bi.

Same, I was alone a lot during covid and discovered the trans and nonbinary stuff by researching bisexuality, and homosexuality. I found a lot of videos titled "how to know if you're gay" and a lot of people did things as kids that would today be labeled as trans like wanting long hair, wearing their mom's high heels etc, and I ended up almost getting sucked into thinking I was trans but really I'm just a feminine bisexual man who likes to occasionally dress feminine when I go to queer spaces. I'm so glad I found Buck and Blaire I truly think they saved me from this cult mentality. I was always skeptical but trying to be open minded and understanding and respectful towards others but now that I'm seeing how this is actually destroying the real trans community and regular gay and lesbian people I am vehemently against it and I will be sharing bucks videos with everyone I know

What consenting adults do, the choice they make, is their business. Emphases on CONSENTING ADULTS. Children must be protected until they can make an educated, informed decision. Your guests are so brave, in this current climate. When treatments and procedures, that cannot be reversed are given or performed on a child, it is child abuse. Bless you and your guests.

Honestly I could have written this comment myself :). And I can see from the comment section that there appear to be many of us. I used to be liberal (even subscribed to New Republic magazine, lol). But the left is now becoming SO far left that they are bordering on having no ethics or standards at all anymore. Nothing surprises me anymore, and within 10 years, I predict people will be marrying animals so that bestiality can be socially acceptable. I'd hate to see story hour at the library then. Dick and Jane will be long gone, and it will be Dick and his girlfriend, the German Shepherd. Then kids will be coming home asking their parents, "How do I know whether I'm attracted to animals or people".

I’m being honest here. With the image “trans” has these days, the forced speech, pronouns etc. People like Posie Parker actually have a compelling argument which makes people think the whole “trans” movement is ridiculous….but then I watch you and realise that there actually is an important place for trans people and there are very good reasons why some people need to transition. The activists don’t help with their crazy protests at women’s events etc. Please keep talking Buck, you are the voice of reason.

I agree people like Buck have been here the whole time never pushing their agenda or their views. They simply want to exist and be happy. The problem is being told what we can or cannot feel, say believe etc. Taking rights away from biological woman, demanding we be ok with biological men in women's spaces you open the door to the people who don't have good intentions. sA's have occurred. Stop telling us we are TERFS, CIS and transphobic when we have concerns.

I like Posie Parker. I think it's important to separate the concept of being trans, from an ideology that simply uses someone else's identity as a way to push ideas that under the surface have nothing to do with 'identity'. Identity is just an easy way to manipulate rifts between people that they can then exploit for their own ends. Criticising gender theory/queer theory does not reflect on the rights of trans-people to exist and be proud of who and what they are. This conflation of two separate things, personal identity and political beliefs/worldview is just what they hide behind to try and shame you into shutting up. Also it's very easy to turn people against you and make you look and feel unreasonable when they are made to feel like any criticism of this Ideology is actually an attack on who someone is as a person.

Well, she's already flip flopped back over on the TikTok and apologized for doing this and basically rescinded everything she said. She's lost and doesn't know where her place is. It makes me angry that this is happening to younger people. And the extreme right needs to stop just like the extreme left does. I can understand that she felt attacked and unaccepted by the extreme right but, she needs to understand that going back and forth on these issues are going to bring this in and really keep it going. She's 23 and while not a kid she's not a well mature 40 year old either. This is her job and she relies on it. When you make your career out of just ideologies it makes it more difficult when you change. I would suggest she try to convert her brand to something else if she wants to stay as a creator. She's not tough enough yet to stand alone on any platform.

These people are doing more harm to their cause by drawing so much negative attention to themselves. I can’t believe we’re at this point in time where our largest financial institutions, corporations, and government are in collusion to drive and support this upheaval of society. 😢. Again, I’m glad we’re in the same corner! Thanks for the work you’re doing!

I recently started watching Rue Paul’s Drag Race on Paramount. It is absolutely amazing to me what a genuine show it is. The contestants are very open to make the distinction of dressing up as a woman and genuinely wanting to be one. One of the most powerful moments occurred during one of the reunion episodes where a contestant came out as an actual transgender. She specifically talks about how she didn’t want to take off her drag where the other contestants did. I’m still in the early seasons but I hope this same level of realness continues. Being a drag queen or being trans are beautiful in that they are their own thing. Let them be their own thing.

Hi buck, i can never manage to get into your livestreams ontime, but i just wanted to let you know, i have probably commented on youtube once my whole life. I am a 33 year old man. Not a cis man, just a man. Lately, I find myself looking forward to hearing you speak because it not only reminds me of how liberal i actually am, but also that there are sensible, wise, and rational people on the internet. I know you dont need me for any sort of validation, but i hope you know, that as a man that my wife calls "stupidly manly" i not only respect you as a man, but also see you as a shining beacon of positive masculinity. Please never quit, and keep up the good work.

I’m a biological female and I was put on birth control at young age. They don’t even tell females what birth control can do to your body long term either. Now I’m dealing with infertility and can’t get pregnant. They still say birth control doesn’t effect fertility but I seriously question it. So many females who were on birth control long term at a young ( for me 12 years old) are now experiencing infertility and finding out medical conditions like PCOS or Endo. I think certain medications should be talked about and side effects. Young children are not thinking of the future. So it’s important to have these discussions. Now looking back I wish I never taken birth control. I can’t imagine being trans and taking medication that does take away the choice to have kids of your own.

I adore you, Buck!! Loved this interview. I’m conservative but completely agree that the left’s version of transgender people is mostly just a trend and kids should not be allowed to transition since consent is just not possible so young. At the same time I think people like you, Blaire, Kelly, etc are the REAL trans people and speak for truth which i appreciate so much. I think adults should always be allowed to do what they want, I will accept anyone!! conservatives are not all haters or transphobic, it’s absolutely ridiculous how the left just attacks literally anyone who isn’t part of their cult, even trans people like you two! It’s insanity. Thank you for speaking up for the truth! I wish more people could see NUANCE in the world and not just see EVERYTHING as black and white and if you don’t agree with one single thing someone says then they are cancelled. It’s horrible. The world is so messed up but I really appreciate your points of view on everything!!

My best friend spent years going about transitioning the right way. Years of therapy, social transitioning then they did it after they were an adult. They recently opened up to me about believing they might have grown out of their dysphoria at 21. Ever since then they expressed a feeling of being trapped in a body that isn't theirs. This may have been a driver behind a few self deletion attempts. It broke my heart. I was wondering who the first detransitioner I would know would be and I would have never expected it. It's heartbreaking and meanwhile he can't open up because of the stigma around these people. You are all loved and you're all gunnu make it through this. Much love to the speaker for being honest about their experience and I'm happy that it worked for her. We got a long way to go on this

I love your narrative of this all, I have grown up with parents who had multiple friends in the lgb community but non of the tq+ so to me I only learned about that side from the news and what society wanted me to see, but when I decided I needed to see more from the other side I found you and blaire and omg I found myself seeing my thoughts were not bigoted or wrong my thoughts were just realistic. I have no problems with trans people or anyone that wants to live their lives in their own way but I don’t agree with the change of my gender as a biological woman becoming a cuss word or kids being told they can no longer have feminine or masculine traits without being told they need to change their gender. I have a tomboy daughter and an emotional son but i embrace and tell them to embrace their differences without telling my daughter she needs to wear dresses or my son boys can’t show effeminate characteristics because I believe that them being more than the societal norms makes them a girl and boy, the gender they are born to, in their own fantastic way. Let the kids grow up to be adults that can then make their own decisions on their own bodies ones we should never make for them. Social media views for a parent when their child is young isn’t worth having a depressed and confused child when they are adults

Reading comments on here, few things; 1. I believe Buck recorded this sometime ago, as i remember him mentioning it on a livestream so it was done well before Kellies tiktok apology. Much like Marcus and Ariella I appreciate him being true to free speech and not just interviewing people who fit in a box (unlike the TRAs and most of GC) 2. I feel sorry for Kelly and her Gen, they are lost and yes as Odins Men said when she did her recent apology, they live in a virtual bubble and tbh they need to look at Blair who gets herself out in real life and mixes with real people. The accounts you play to online are mostly fake, just bored people play acting and they are going to keep chewing and spitting you out. My advice to Kelly, bank what you've made and do something real with it, even travel and see how rich and diverse the world is. I hope kelly finds a way through before getting too burnt x

They can't use their intellect in an argument, they can't bring any evidence to back up what they say. They get hurt feelings because their evidence is feelings so they try to hurt feelings. I am a paraplegic and asexual as a result of the accident. I lost my sexual function because of my spinal injury. I consider myself an outsider even though i have been told I am under the "umbrella of trans". This is such a complicated issue and as a parent too it is so hard to know where to draw the line of where we are being too permissive to let "teeenagers" make life long decisions and allowing them to live their own lives, right?! it is a fine line. I used to hate the idea of Gatekeeping but there are just some instances where it is important that everyone doesn't rush the bridge or it will break. In depth studies are needed in all these areas for the most severe cases. In my humble opinion

There is so much that I love about what you two are saying. I just feel a little sad that we as a society (I'm ONLY speaking MY feelings, please --- I don't mean to speak for anyone else) are sort of being led by morays to do anything, anything. twist ourselves into pretzels as Richard Wolff says, in order to NOT talk about the class war. In terms of families having to take second, third, or fourth jobs in order to eat, while some bozo gets to keep all the money to buy a disgusting trip to outerspace for himself. I volunteered once at a food pantry and every week, hundreds of backpacks were handed out at school just because they get the only meal of their day at public school. I mean for every public school in our county. And when the backpacks got handed out, the kids were so famished that they would tear into boxes of mac and cheese to suck on the dry noodles. I mean, really? And nothing seems to change regardless of whether their color is red or blue.

And trans have to keep it open with medical care. Kelly also says she has a birth canal. People don't realize how much it takes to live this way. Kelly's point about trans visibility is so interesting- I've never considered that kids expression gender dysphoria without being taught/aware of the idea of trans would give their feelings more weight, but it totally does. I think about being a lesbian and how the difference really is stark; if visibility for gay people influences kids to identity as gay, at least they can choose at literally any second to stop identifying that way and have utterly no consequences (apart from family relationships that might have been homophobic). They havent done any irreversible damage to their literal bodies. Always love hearing all the different perspectives you have on Buck ❤

52:17 YES PREACH. As someone who is religious, I learned my whole life to be tolerant of everyone else's belief and I recognize something that feels like a cult/religion when I see one, literally how I got here was 'man this stuff happening around me and this over wokism stuff really feels like a cult?' and bam ended up on the deep web. I respect other's beliefs as long as they respect mine, and what I hate about the ideologue cult is it feels so forceful and with every lack of respect for anyone that does not believe what they believe. Like people are allowed to think differently. also just because i'm religious does not mean I don't accept you, just like you can be trans and see the conservative point of view or atleast the none radical left point of view. I've lived my whole life being challenged by people with different beliefs then me, in fact my best friend in childhood was an athiest. My current best friend is mormon! Ahah!
