Dressed, spoke, acted like, lived like- a female. That being said, she didn't play girls sports, because she believed it wasn't right. She used the teachers bathroom the 1st year, until everyone got to know her and made sure we were comfortable. Everyone was told she had a medical condition, so that's why she got to use the teachers bathroom(we had a couple students who had med conditions like diabetes (privacy for insulin) and colostomy/osteomy bags, who used the teachers bathroom, because it was a single bathroom. At 16, she hads more sense than these adults. I got to know her well, and she had been living as a female since 12.

Same here Sister! I was once told that it was a shame I had a better mustache than the guy I was dating....I was mortified as I am 100% all biological woman (I had a DNA scan when I was a child due to an issue I had after an accident). I have XX chromosomes but I, too, either have to pluck for hours and put up with the bleeding or shave everyday. I have been blessed with 3 healthy children. I have to struggle to "present" as feminine even with a set of DD boobs and an hour glass figure because I have coarser features and "mannish" hands (whatever that's really supposed to mean). I cannot tolerate makeup as it blisters my skin and I grow hair all over my chin and upper lip. I cannot imagine what it must be like to look into a mirror and know that the reflection is simply wrong. For all my issues I know I was born the correct gender for me. My heart goes out to people who are, in fact, actually suffering. I want everyone to be able to love themselves inside and out. Whatever you wear, however you change your outward appearance I hope it brings you joy...but these young people in the tik toks don't seem joyful they seem desperate. That isn't a good look for anyone.

So I'm more female than male, ha. I think some of us are born with our hormones just a bit off balance, but we have biological sex organs that determine which road we are to travel down. Even being a Tom Boy I knew one day I would be a fully grown woman. Life is a struggle and a Testing Ground, if you believe in an Almighty Creator and Jesus. Because we didn't really know what transexualality was. But we accepted him anyway. "He" still used male pronouns, probably because there wasn't an abundance of trans students.. But there's no way "he" wasn't a trans-woman. I COULD be wrong. But I doubt it. I'm only using male pronouns because those are the pronouns I knew him by. But we didn't make fun of him. Nor did we shit on the other LBG students. We didn't care! We were all friends. I might mention that I grew up in Las Vegas. It was a little bit more normalized there, than say small town USA. I'll also mention that we didn't the race issues we have now. We were all friends. The only race issues we had were between the Mexican students in the black students. They constantly have beef. But that because we had a lot of gang activity in our schools. I think it had more to do with that than actually the differences of race.

Anyone who has known her since 14, knows she is a woman. She went thru hell to pass and to be respectful to women. She never dated anyone in our school either, bcuz she didn't want anyone to know at our school. She did however, tell the person she was talking to, FROM THE GATE. It is fascinating to me to listen to people speaking to how important makeup is. Is it, really? Is it a young lady thing? Is it a city thing? I truly don't know. I have lived close to cities, but mostly rural. I see an incredible mix of expressions. Some women glamorize, some simply highlight, and others really don't give a rats. I would say I am somewhere between the last two; practical. But then too, you can do only so much with ugly (my curse). I have been around, mostly women for many years, and for the most part my friends are pragmatic and practical, plus, a lot of us work at jobs where hands on and getting dirty goes with the territory; even the many years before I retired from nursing, very few if any, spent time on expansive personal appearance except on special occasions. Now though, with most, it seems, Trans-Women there is a lot invested in looks, and not just for passing. I am not being over critical just wondering how necessary it really is. There is a little bit of envy too, I must admit; body Dysmorphia is a thing, and yes I suffer; there are no resources that I have available to me that I could utilize to change that. Are you talking about dysmorphia or dysphoria? Because to be a transsexual you'd have gender dysphoria. Body dysmorphia isn't trans although I'm not saying a trans person couldn't have body dysmorphia also. Dysphoria is where you're extremely uncomfortable with your reproductive organs and dysmorphia is where you're uncomfortable about a perceived flaw in your body.

It is incredibly frustrating as a lesbian woman with PCOS and Endometriosis, seeing these people pretend to have menstrual issues. They are damaging the trans community as a whole. I'm glad there are people like you, Buck, and others like Blaire, that are the light in the dark right now. Watching Blaire helped me with my confusion surrounding my gender, i thought i was non binary and this led to some dysphoria. Then i realised that i am a woman who is androgynous and doesnt conform to gender stereotypes and this doesnt change my gender and I'm much happier and more comfortable in myself since i realised this. However, had the current lgbtq+ social pressures been around when i was in my late teens/early twenties, id be screwed right now.

First time meeting Tori. Thank you for your sane voice and presence! You are beautiful. I'm a straight white Christian Conservative female, so I understand the hate and vitriol coming from not just the LGBTQ+++ community, but from ALL directions these days. I'm being accused of things I have NEVER been a party to. I grew up watching my younger 60 y/o gay brother and his friends navigate the issues with class and dignity. When this new breed of LGBTQs came on the scene with the pronouns and trans ideology I started looking for answers because it was completely foreign to me. I can only imagine what people who aren't at all familiar with the community are feeling about it! It absolutely is making a mockery out of everything y'all fought for.

It feels so natural to say: She (Tori) and He (Buck Angel) when watching because of the effort they have put in. It's not like you have to remind yourself to associate those pronouns with each of them. I think that speaks volumes to the effect that their effort has on integrating with society.

Y'all are spot on and I'm so glad that we have serious reality-loving trans people who are content with being who they truly are and don't want to browbeat others into ideological submission. Love you both! Yeah, I'm around Buck's age (55) and I spent a lot of my teens and early twenties in theater (I was called "Our token straight." by others in the group, which made us all laugh), and I've known people who transitioned, and for all of them the goal was to become the person that they thought they were meant to be. That drove them to be passing, because the whole point and purpose of their dysmorphia transition was to be able to look at themselves in the mirror and see their exterior reflecting the same person they felt they were on the inside. The lazy trendy pseudotrans populace of today completely ignores that aspect because it seems that they don't have actual dysmorphia so much as they want to be told how wonderful and special they are. It's sad and tragic to me because they will likely never feel half as fulfilled as Buck, Tori, and Blair are, but that's because they just seem to hate themselves for whatever reason. Keep up the great work!

I'm a psychologist. I urge every person who feels inclined to transition to the seek help FROM A NONBIASED CLINICIAN!!! Do NOT trust any professional even if they agree or “affirm” you. Honestly, a clinician that treats you immediately is unethical and dangerous to you. 80% of my patients outgrew their desire to transition….why…because once they remove the need for attention, you become your true self! Love you all, and thank you saving lives!!! Suicide is the options you are given through nonsensical “science” that people who have an agenda claim to be so concerned are actually using this to destroy you. It's not giving you the inclusion you desire. Actual Gender Dysphoria is extremely RARE!!! If you are questioning if you are trans, then with all do respect…you aren't. I despise being baited - gender, queer, trans, whatever, or having it shoved in my face. (My standard response: “I don’t care what’s in your pants, how you identify, or who you f*ck”). I will admit when she first started her transition I may have offended her. It wasn’t intentional. I would sometimes call her at first by her birth name. It wasn’t meant to be offensive it was just years of habit. I wanted to understand and show love so I made an effort to use the right words when addressing her.
