Btw, really loving the recent editing job with additions like “hot sith summer” and close up of Rocha’s eyebrows and stuff. Adds a little funny to the video. I assume it’s Rocha’s doing? Don’t think he’s hired an editor?

@@JohnRochaSaysGreat episode, I can't wait for the 7th flashback episode where we will learn what happened from the point of view of the Jedi 16 years ago. As for the plot, it was a good setup for the last two final episodes. The unnamed planet where Kimir was, in my opinion, may be the one used in the book by Darth Tenebrous and Darth Plagueis because of the mines on Cortosis, as we had, I can see in the episode that there was a vein of this metal on the wall. And that shot from inside the helmet reminded me that stormtroopers can barely see anything through their helmets. And with this helmet of his from Cordosis, it is also not good to see something similar to when the younglings are training, Luke trained Obi-Wan / Sabine trained Ahsoka / Rey then with the help of the Jedi scroll taught Leia from which she also learned force heal. So that the given individual concentrates mainly on strength and senses.

I'll say this: I don't think it's as simple as Osha has gone to the Dark Side by putting on the helmet. I think she's using the helmet as a tool to help her go deeper into the Force in order to invoke some sort of vision to help her figure out what truly happened when her coven died.

Yeah, something else odd, Sol was just willing to leave Basil on the planet? And when Basil got on board, what was the deal with him running around the ship playing hide and seek instead of going to Sol to begin with? And that weird dancing and stomping on Mae’s foot?

There's a lot of interesting very *thinly* veiled sexual metaphors in the "seduction." In my opinion, the season should have been assembled to somehow open on the events of the previous episode with this one following.

This style of storytelling where scenes are abbreviated or a line or a single scene are supposed to convey whole messages and themes and ideas is something we saw in shows like Rebels or TCW. It worked well enough in those bc, IMO, we have stronger suspension of disbelief for animated series than live action. The problem in live action is that it disconnects us from the ideas and messages it’s meant to convey. We may like Jecki and Yord, but we still feel like them and other characters weren’t given the depth they could have and, had that been the case, it would have felt even more devastating. I’m going through Rebels now and I can’t quit out a finger on the why other than suspension of disbelief, but these shorthand for storytelling seems to work better there instead of in these live action shows.

We just don’t know the full story but I hope it deals with insane stuff because the action and dialogue don’t match for me yet. 6 episodes in and I’m torn if this thing needs a second season. The story is the weak link of the show, definitely. Love the music and costumes.

i think the bald greenie was the sith's master, she whipped him with that saber/whip probably when he started talking about wanting to use the force differently than the jedi. she knows who he is. again, that's what i think. cannot wait for Ep7. also, john, all star wars episodes have had that same untimely humor in them.

For sure. I definitely think Vernestra was Qimir’s master and those uneven scars don’t look like what a regular light saber would make.

Sol knew it was Mae from when she popped out of the woods on Khofar. "Where is she?" "Who?" "Your sister!" (not "Mae!"). Solidified when he grabbed the hand she held out to help him up. The reason he doesn't say anything is he's trying to get a bead on her headspace - if you watch the interactions in the ship, he keeps giving her opportunities to either attack him or admit who she is. It's why he's so disappointed that he has to stun her.

So, knowing that Osha was alone in a forest full of killer moths and a possible Sith still running around alive... Sol decided to just abandon her and leave the planet? Whether Sol knew from the start or realized once aboard the ship, the decision makes no sense. And what was the point of the charade on the ship with Sol and Mae? There could still be a reason here, but a lot of the motivations and decisions are starting to be left dangling and unexplained.

@@Vulcanerd that's what I've been saying the walk to the ship he never felt this is not OSHA?? And gets to the ship orbits ,then leaves catches Mae! Instead asking if she killed OSHA, he say we have to save osha, but never thinks she still be in the forest with a killer😂😂😂😂

You give the writers of this dogshit show too much credit. Good writers would've left better suggestions of the things you're suggesting within the script itself.

Logically on paper the seduction was too fast. I do think he was doing a good enough job that it can work that fast. I just don’t think her performance conveyed that.

Sure, I like a good lightsaber battle, but I also liked watching a dragon destroy an entire city in a certain other show. That doesnt mean the episode wasnt dogs*#t. 3/4 of the way through this season, "lets see how it plays out" is beginning to sound like desperation. Maybe a jedi ewok will show up and save the series!
