I love the Grayson Hall scream. It sounds like tires racing over gravel.

I love her constant habit of rolling her head back, opening her mouth and rolling her eyes! 😆🙄

Man, Grayson Hall sure could scream. Any of the dead not already awakened at Collinwood sure were after that.

I heard that!LOL! She could do some screaming when she had to!

Julia, the ever over-the-top over-emoting actor. Everything she said, did, was times 10. Method acting on an exponential scale.

I adored Grayson Hall. She just went for it and didn't give a damn how OTT it was. So enjoyable to watch.

The Dream Curse episodes are my favorite of the series. I remember them freaking me out when I was a little kid. I've watched them numerous times but this is the first time I noticed the bucket with the special effects "fog" pouring out!

They were okay, but many people found the plot line to be too long, drawn out and repetitious.

The Dream Curse episodes seem like an especially compelling episode of “The Sopranos” or “Breaking Bad” next to the unbelievably tedious and insufferable DS episodes featuring Tad’s Playroom during the summer of 1970 DS storyline.

The more that I think about it, the more that I like Julia. She was a high camp performer! LOL

All these know-it-alls critiquing an Oscar-nominated actress like they know what they're talking about. Check out Grayson Hall in Night of the Iguana, where she effortlessly steals scenes from Richard Burton, Ava Gardner and Deborah Kerr. She was an excellent actress with an inimitable style and unique presence. I'd watch her read the back of a cereal box.

I always thought that Dr. Hoffman was much more effective performing surgery and conducting mad scientist experiments than she was in treating patients as a psychiatrist. I mean, did anyone ever improve emotionally/mentally after being Dr. Hoffman’s patient at the doctor’s private hospital, Windcliff? And, I think that Dr. Hoffman and Willie Loomis were the two greatest participants of the Dream Curse.

I swear, they must have found those skulls at a joke shop in Greenwich Village or Soho. 😅

And how come there are two different music box themes for Josette?!
@guytanoparks6 ай бұрын
Robert Cobert wanted an original music box theme composed by him to be used rather than the previous theme by another composer.

Yes, some characters didn't have the Dream Curse; e.g. Roger Collins, Elizabeth Stoddard and a couple of others.

i always thought it would be Julia give it to Barnabas

No, at the time, Vicky was the object of his love and attention. Thus, she would be the one chosen by Angelique to be the last and fatal link in the dream sequence.

I'm kind of new to the series, so I have to ask, is there anyone who DIDN'T have the Dream Curse?
@nassauguy487 жыл бұрын
Oddly enough, Elizabeth did not have it. Roger as well, but at the time, he was the husband of Cassandra (Angelique). Joe Haskell was also spared, but at that time, Angelique did not really know him all that well.

Also, Sheriff George Paterson, attorney Tony Petersen, the iconoclastic Buzz Hackett and Blue Whale bartender Bob Rooney did not have the dream. Of course, Quentin Collins and Amy and Chris Jennings had not yet shown up in Collinsport.

She was great in the movies, but her acting and her repeating of words in almost every line is just unbearable at times in this series. I am hooked, nevertheless.

Anyone who beckons during the dream curse is the next one to have the dream.
