Leslie Van Houten is NOT a political prisoner. She was CONVICTED of two counts of murder and one count of conspiracy! I remember her walking to court singing and laughing with no remorse at all. DISGUSTING!

I really don't give a rat's patootie if Leslie Van Houghten never gets out. She WAS an active participant in those murders. Time & storytelling has diluted the gruesomeness of those murders and turned them into folklore in an effort to negate how horrible it was an amass sympathy for the perpetrators. That, in itself, is an abomination!

I remember that Rebecca Schaeffer story. Horrible. I believe she was dating director Brad Silberling at the time of her death. It was because of this tragic incident that laws were passed on how people could obtain addresses through the DMV.

It's a surefire classic from Hollywood's golden age. Wickedly humerous fun. :) All About Eve is an absolute classic, in my own Top 10. Mommie Dearest is okay, though I myself consider it a bit overrated and trying too hard. Not a huge fan.

This is a bazaar little channel but I am fascinated with the history you share about the celebrities. I have noticed that when I watch old TV shows with a star you have featured that I instantly see their gravestones. It seems so sad to watch them perform and know where they ended up. I have to say that what was done to Lucille Ball was the saddest one I have seen. It shocks me what children do to their parents while they are still alive but when they die it seems more cruel. Why is the inheritance never enough?

That's not what he said it's what you heard. All he said was that it's weird how people that have done much worse crimes than her get let out earlier. The only reason she's still in there is because she's a political prisoner and it's true. She is. You can say the same thing about Charles Manson. Nothing but political prisoners "danger to society" "potential for future violence". Please. She's 70 years old with no history of violence while imprisoned. She was lost teenager doped up on acid that night under Manson orders. Might as well been a voice in her head.

I truly disagree, with all due respect on Leslie Van Houten. See, the thing is, Leslie wanted to kill, and be chosen as a "good soldier" as she likes to put it. She had no regard for anyone else who stood in her way to achieving her desire to perform well for their stupid cause. Rosemary LaBianca was not just a dead person, she was a living, breathing human being, a mother, a wife, a daughter in law. She wasn't just a corpse that Leslie came upon & stabbed. Leslie & Pat terrorized the poor woman, who, had to sit there in utter terror listening to her husband being killed in the next room knowing she was next. It was a horrible, horrible crime, unlike no other. Leslie didn't just go inside of a home and stab a dead body. Why is Rosemary LaBianca so unimportant as a human being? What was she, a Halloween prop? No way. Screw LVH! Political prisoner, my a*s! She is eligible to ASK for parole, but it isn't her right under Cali law to be guaranteed it. She didn't help herself when she paraded around the Halls of Justice, skipping, singing & holding hands with the other two mutants all the while having that moronic smile plastered on her remorseless mug! Scott, I've been a lurker on your website for years and now really enjoy the videos and podcast! Keep rockin!!
