Agreed. I adore DS3, but couldn’t get into Elden Ring. I personally think the Souls formula doesn’t work so well with an open world. The great thing about DS1/2/3, Demons souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro is that they’re more focused, but they still have a decent bit of exploration. Semi open Hub worlds>Huge open world.

Disagree. Dark Souls 3 was my first souls game, and while I do really like it, I think Elden Ring is better. Sekiro is also really, really good, but I wouldn't say it's better than Elden Ring it's just equal but different.
