bro shadow of the erdtree has so many fromsoft peaks like best dungeons best bosses best music its crazy. im so excited for froms next game, they said theyre not going to do something as big as elden ring for a bit, so imagine a more linear soulslike but with everything theyve learned from elden ring... gets me so hyped. their next game could be their best.

Shadow of the Erdtree definitely dosen’t have the best dungeons, most of them are too small and too spread apart, but the bosses are very good.

I just beat Ashes of Ariendel for the first time relatively blind. My first time in the second phase I went in with 2 estus flasks and I beat it first try. I was so excited! barely beat it but beating that second phase was so rewarding! Then I spent another week working on the rest of the fight lol

yeah 27 vig is 1k hp and is honestly more than enough especially with ember around 1300 not sure how much health this guy needs

by l3vel 80 you should at least have 30 vig , 35 vig and 25 stamina is strong. Even for just pve this is pretty much the consensus. From there on to sl125 your just pumpin strenvth or dex and get stamina to 30 also. Also does he not know about greatswords lol?

@@Mini-c137 I don't think he was full hp, and that dark hand move is so slow it's not meant to be tanked. He really misplayed there imo. I mean, as most of us mortals not named squilla or hobbes are want to do. He also was not trying to do much pvp, because of the inherent risks of doing so. I don't think 3 vig lvls is that big a deal for a casual playthrough where he's trying to be efficient with his spread. You can control how much you get hit to an extent with play. You can't really make your damage per hit go up with how you play outside rtsr or pontiff ring.

Card shop streams got boring because he just opened packs and sold the highest tier of box to just open packs while the store ran itself. It was better in the beginning because he was actually trying to play the game instead of just doing the boring meta minmax shit

The giant wolf encounter is my favorite part in the painting. If you could mod that wolf to be in the fight with black flame Friede that would be fun. Like at half her health you hear the wolf's howl, and he jumps down from the ceiling.

He's one of the tougher bosses in ds3 , but eventually, you have to play melee it's just way more fun and teaches you how to dodge properly and shit

it’s all about learning the moves and recognizing patterns. pontiff is a great teacher because his combos are long, require insanely precise timing, but he has the easiest to recognize attacks in the game. for example, he’ll raise both swords in the air then do the same 6 hit combo then it’s your turn, or he’ll lower both swords then jump towards you with a big spin, then it’s your turn. my advice would be to keep your damage low, if you’re trying to actually get good at least, otherwise you’ll make tons of mistakes and still win without ever actually learning. be okay with dying over and over, it’s part of the process, it can take hours if you’re actually trying to memorize their moves, sometimes you have to take a break and come back the next day. and finally roll towards every attacks to minimize the chance of getting roll-caught. also maybe you could do it on a ng+? in my opinion bosses have too little health on ng, at least for trying to learn. and there are ofc exceptions, some bosses straight up aren’t fun, (crystal sage, and rotted greatwood mainly) but mostly everyone else in ds3 is a great fight
