@itsyvonblitz681928 күн бұрын
Ds1 is probably worse, given you can only roll in four directions. Matter of fact it's easier to just not lock on in ds1. Anyways I don't get why he's complaining about the lockon in ds3 when it is practically similar to ER

The Item that lets you TP back to the bonfire or the shrine is called the homeward bone, you can find them scattered around the place, or you can buy them from the Shrine Handmaid (the old grandma lady at firelink shrine)

Make sure you’re keeping up with the NPCs back at Firelink. Typically in this game, every time you kill another boss, it usually triggers the next ‘event’ or dialogue sequence in their storylines. Yoel in particular will offer another free level each time you slay a boss, which is why I want to highlight this now so that you don’t miss them.
@3dmaster2054 ай бұрын
He offers you another free level essentially every time you die actually; you don't need to wait to kill a boss.
@fuy16483 ай бұрын
@@3dmaster205 Its actually based on your hollowing stat, which increases by the amount of dark sigils you have every time you die. Yoel gives you a dark sigil every time you draw out your inner strength. The first level is free, second is 2, third is 6, 4th is 12, and 5th is the cap at 15. If you do it optimally every level past 1 is 2 deaths except 5 which is 1 death.

About your stamina: in dark souls, stamina management is much more important than in Elden Ring. DS3 is definitely the most lenient in the series, but even so attacks will tend to use a lot of your stamina bar and you will need to keep an eye on it. It will of course still get better the more you level it, but know that running out of stamina is pretty normal
@dougbates94 ай бұрын
Like some others mentioned, the basin of vows should be placed behind the NPC you killed at the beginning of the video. 2. Homeward bones, equip them so that when you use them they'll teleport you back to the last bonfire you rested at, you can replace them with a late game item so your not wasting souls to buy them or having to find them. 3. Undead bone shards, burn them at the firelink bonfire the increase how much health is replenished when using estus flasks.

(uchi is actually a good weapon) you get A LOT of titanite and large shards in this game so upgrading weapon up to +6 to test them is always fine

No offense, but have you really done 400 hours of Elden Ring? Did you beat Radahn, Mohg, Malenia, Maliketh, Radagon and the Elden Beast or did you pass these hours all in Limgrave before Godrick? Above all, passing entire areas and ignoring practically every useful object: shields, estus/bone shards, weapons, items... "DS3 made me rage quit". You have a shield, use it. Exploring poorly and not reading only makes the experience more difficult for understanding the lore and mechanics.

Yes, Dark Souls (III) isn't like Elden Ring where you have multiple AOE attacks with which you can clear entire mobs. Dark Souls requires a bit more meticulousness and patience, taking down enemies one at a time, or at least very small numbers of the weakest of enemies. Which reminds me; remember that dragon in the last area, Lothric Wall? Underneath its fire, just like in Dark Souls there lies the Claymore; swiping attacks (one-handed) and stabbing attacks, long reach and heavy enough to stagger enemies, it is a beast of a weapon that has the capacity to take down multiple enemies in a single go. Dark Souls III Claymore is best Claymore. Whether you want to go get it is up to you. Oh, to teleport to bonfires you need to use the same item as in Dark Souls I; the Homeward Bone. I saw you have two in your inventory now; I think the crone in Firelink shrine sells them; it's better not to spam them, though; there that many of them to find, and buying a lot costs you a bunch of souls.

DLC definitely not worth the time after the absolute slog of a main game, no matter how good it supposedly is. A game that earns its place in the trash bin. Is it difficult? Sure. Worth the investment of time and effort? Not really. The thing I enjoyed most about beating the game was feeling free to uninstall it and talk trash about it later.
