A couple times ive been invaded before a boss like ancient wyvern while im eating or something. Idk it’s really interesting to just go behind the wall and observe the thought process of people. Some just search forever. Ive never used it mid fight, but i sure hope people dont get too mad.

@@hildebrand2252 Play as you wish, but the fog wall run has been used to play games for a while. It’s one thing to run and start fighting the boss. It’s another thing to do what the guy in this video did. It’s become common in Crucifixion Woods to dry finger, have them invaded chase you, and hide behind the Crystal Mage fog wall. Invader black crystals out only to end up invading the same world.

Had someone do this to me at Lorian recently. Ended up tailbone spearing them into the boss encounter. Works at Crystal sage also but not here in Ariandel unfortunately. Sweet knowing they can’t do it again after you forced a boss encounter though haha.

Some PC hosts are uber aggressive. I was doing Pontiff Pvp/fight clubs to get a tongue to respecc and this one host was just went beast mode.. he then got parried and a point down for not being respectful.

Pontiff area is sometimes unplayable. So many ganks just farming invaders, no pve, all tanks, all Gundyr halberds. It's actually kinda funny that people go that hard just for a few souls.

A couple days ago I met this SUPER laggy Wolnir Fog wall cheeser named (IWillKillYouManyTImes) he started with mill wood bow at the tiny ledge you walk on, so I caestused on over and he cheesed me til I had run out of heals. He was super laggy so I couldn’t outspace his ultra great sword through the fog wall, and his spells would hit before they hit, so I walked down and regened by FP and health, and then prepared for my last resort. I fucking walked up to the fog wall, targeted him as he, in his cockiness walked out as he didn’t get hit by my Gaels crossbow weapon art, but then I backstepped and using the MillWood Greatbow Glitch ONE SHOT HIS DUMB CHEESING LAGGY ASS XD Then he sent me a nice little message saying he’s going to report me to the PlayStation network for glitch killing him through his sacred fog wall.

Plus yes he pissed me off so I wanted to make him see what it was like to have to deal with gamebreaking bugs, and boy was it satisfying. I don’t use glitches unless they do, so it was an exception to my play style. I can tell you for a fact though that I was NOT the salty one when it was all over 😏

This easily proves that getting rid of solo invasions is not gonna solve the problem with fogwalls, disconnects and bonfire duelists. A co-op scenario can rapidly become a 1v1 engagement and turn out like this. Cowards are gonna find a way to cheese their advantages as hosts so that's why Elden ring should adress invasions in a more serious manner. And in my opinion, making invasions for only co-op is not the solution.

I had one of those guys, too. He summoned people that probably wanted to fight Friede, he hid behind the fogwall and he relied on cheap tricks. I killed him, but my coinvader didn't make it to the end. Well, I added him and told him about it.

FromSoftware really needs to get rid of re-summoning, it's so annoying. This is literally every single invasion in the ringed city, fortunately I figured out that these hosts are really dumb and you just have to pull out the ringed knight paired cancer to finish them before the summon arrives, they usually don't know how to counter them so you basically just press l1 until the die, it works every time. I'm not a fan of cheesy weapons but sometimes it's the only way.

Here are 3 things that I think would make the pvp system for Elden Ring much better. 1. Actually banning people for quitting out. First you get a warning and a small wait time for online. The second time you get full blown banned. I don't think this will make people play offline either given that in Elden Ring, you can only invade people with summons. 2. Fog wall crit animations. Imagine a host goes to enter a fog wall right next to you and you backstab them and yank them out of the fog to the ground behind you. This would make it so that hosts can still escape invaders that are cheating, hiding, trolling, etc, but they can't just fog wall in front of your face just as easy as it is now. I like how in DS3, you're invincible to enemies while entering the fog. This would only apply to invaders. It would also make it harder to get to the boss if an area had one or two mid-area fog walls. 3. No invisible fog walls. I like how there are times when you don't know if you're entering a boss arena or not. I think they should keep that but only if you haven't been invaded. Once an invader enters you're world, there should be a fog wall there that you can get backstabbed out of.

What I said was really just in reference but I understand there is no way to tell the difference between quitting out and internet disconnect. I think the punishment should be much lighter than what I originally stated, but I still think there should be punishments. That way there will be less of those terrible connections online and people will be afraid to quit out like a bitch.

I once met a guy, that stood at the cursed tree fog gate and tried to cheese me, after throwing like every dagger, bomb, sees or dung pie he had in his inv he Just decided to stay there and wait like a coward he was and of course he would only get out when it was like a 3/2 v 1 with blues, but he didint kill me or nor did i he Just went afk for the next 5 hours, you were able to invade him and never find him because of the fog wall, its Just incredible how cowardly some ppl can be

And I admit to using coward bow tactics on PVE on my 1st runs through DS 1, 2, and 3. And I do like to pull pranks on people in PVP with cameleon....but if they find me I give them 10 embers/humanities/effegies.

More often than not the prisoners chain. Depends on what your levels are in Vigor Vitality Endurance..the negative on prisoners chain is so minuscule you really don't notice it and it is a free 15 levels

@@2185JTT vigor vitality and endurance are all around the 30/40 mark. My current setup would be havels ring, ring of favour, chloranthy ring and the ring of steel protection. All +3.

@@LDZNogus well hard caps for endurance and vigor are at 40. So you really won't get much from prisoners chain. What kind of build are you running. Usually the rings I run for melee builds prisoner chain, rof+3, life ring+3 and the fourth for swaps to hornet ring, silvercat, or havels if I'm using a heavy weapon. I try to keep my equip load under 70% without havels so I can switch weapons on the fly. Unless it's a really heavy weapon like Ledos great hammer

@@2185JTT I used to use ultra greatswords a lot. Things like the fume UGS. But now I switch between the dragonslayer greataxe and Lorain’s greatsword. And as I’ve mentioned before in another reply, I use chloranthy +3 for stamina regen, steel protection +3, ring of favour +3 and the I tend to switch out havels ring for the hornet ring
