Lilaggy sat down and was clearly like "Oh man a fog gate randomiser will be fun for a nice stream session!" But alas, poor little aggy had inadvertently signed himself up for 4d chess (mainly due to his own pathing making him seem like he was softlocking but we'll just cut that part out for KZbin) trying to keep every single location in mind.

Even if the fog gate would connect to each other, going through the other side should still put you on the other side of the original one, meaning entering the reverse is also different. But if you do not randomize both sides of the fog gate your world graph becomes too restricted, and you'd possibly cut off entire sections of the world, or you end up with only very few possible permutations if you force a fully connected graph. But I do agree that even though the description is not wrong, it can be easily misunderstood and should probably be a bit more explicit.
