I am loving your playthgrough (and play style). I love to see the pain that you're going through (we've all been there brother). One thing about Souls games, is you have to be meticiulous about attacks and mean it when you swing; you better commit to that attack; you can't cancel; and never be greedy. If you died caz of being greedy, you'll know and hate yourself for it. (Oh and dont' hit NPCs)

Press B or O to slide down the ladder bro, and after you reverse hollowing you can kindle the bon fire with humanity to get extra estus.

@@Looney123 Maybe you didn't realize but sliding doesn't work if you hold the directional key.You have to let go of the left analog and then hold the roll button.

Most humbling game ive played is called Noita Even when I was at the 300 hour mark, hell even now at almost 800, I still learn new shit every other run. The classic "Oh wow, you can do that?" or "Wait, wtf just happened?"

hey looney quick tip; there is a powerful weapon you can obtain in the beginning of the game called the black knight sword, you have to kill the black knight that has it to get the sword but do know it does not always spawn in, there are other black knights around the game you can kill to get there weapon and once you do level up the weapon to 5+

It's not a bad thing to give tips, but telling someone how they should play a game that allows for and rewards utilizing a variety of weapons and tactics ends up harming their experience, rather than helping. To explain why telling someone to get a Black Knight weapon in specific is bad: it's an endgame weapon with a low drop chance, but it is also upgraded using Twinkling Titanite, meaning you can completely ignore the intended upgrade progression and get a fully upgraded weapon before even stepping foot in Sen's Fortress. This completely changes a player's first experience with the game, for the worse. There's far less challenge remaining in the game at that point, so there's less reward for beating it.

parrying is op is ds1, so is backstabbing. if you want to block an attack and don't care about parrying the claymore has good enough defense if you block using it
