Sadly I don't think these challenges are possible for 2 and 3 unless save editing. Dark Souls 2/3 both follow a much more linear path than 1. In 1 you can skip undead burg and go to valley of drakes right away for RTSR, where as in 3 you are required to go Vordt -> Undead Settlement -> Crystal Sage/AW -> Wolnir/Deacons of the Meme There are very few options in 3, you can do Dancer first but it doesn't leave enough room to scale up enough to one shot a boss early on.

@@coolman2835 I am late to this, but I have tried this in DS3. I managed to one shot the Sage using a parry with the Dragonslayer Greataxe and a couple buffs like the RTSR. In DS2, you might be able to do this if you got Climax very early. This is possible because if you take the correct path, you'll be able to fight Darklurker as your first boss. First, get a Branch of Yore, then get a million souls and then you can get to Drangleic Castle. Now talk to the old guy in his 3 places and fight Darklurker. Now you've got Climax while fighting only a single boss. If you could get your hands on some gear and points, you might be able to do this challenge.

Dude.. When you replayed in slow-mo the plunge on Kalameet, I was like, "He's not dead?!" Then, later, when you hit him for over half his life, I was like "Yes!!" I felt like I was there. One of the most riveting DaS playthroughs I've watched. So Exciting! 10/10 would watch again.

For some reason I must have got it into my head that when I quit the Darkmoon covenant I would have to stop using the Talisman. Unfortunately I've ran the Math and the extra damage on Kalameet would have been negligible - not enough to get the one shot.

Now that i think about it, isn't there a glitch where at the very beginning of the game you can quit-out right after killing asylum demon, thus leaving it alive or in other words, its points acquireable? If you could get the 2 points from the asylum demon, would it be enough to one-shot Kalameet?

I tried a few more times and replicated exactly the same damage twice. The Demon’s Greataxe has stupidly good scaling even after you hit diminishing returns so it wouldn’t have taken much more Strength to achieve. But rules are rules! Glad you enjoyed!

Yup, got the same result each time! A couple of people have mentioned his eyes are a weak spot when you hit him with arrows but I don't know if that hitbox would have been too small to hit with the Greataxe or not. The odds of me getting that just right are probably astronomical.

I just realized that the dark lord *is* infact walking into the abyss. You can see the kiln from nito's place, (TotG), Witch of Izalith's, (Demon Ruins), and the Four kings are literally right below new londo which is below firelink shrine, so the alter is a bit above the abyss. Bad ass.

Clever solution! But I think it was assumed by everyone doing the challenge that the Bed of Chaos was the one boss that shouldn't really count. It's exactly like killing him in a standard non-challenge playthrough so it doesn't seem right to award points for it.

The trick to the hydra is if you go to the left and just camp there at just the right spot he can't get you, leaving you invincible until he only has 2 heads left

To fully explain it I'd need to do a whole video but here's a brief rundown. On the Weapons Info screen you'll see a ParamBonus section, with ratings SABCDE for Str/Dex/Int and Faith, S being best, E worst. The higher the rating and the higher your stat the more damage you will do. Elemental weapons sacrifice stat scaling properties for higher base damage which is best for lower levels, but decent scaling weapons will generally outperform their counterparts eventually when you've leveled up.

Although I took my own spin on it, this was originally designed by vageta as a community based challenge where everyone could have a go. To do that he had to come up with a definitive list of mini-bosses so everyone could work from the same page and the wikidot list is just what stuck. Besides, there'd have been far too many points available otherwise. Vis-à-vis the Iron Golem the Dragon King Greataxe doesn't scale with Strength, and the Demon's Greataxe just wasn't going to cut it either.

The Dragon Greatsword's special R2 attack is super powerful but in terms of its normal falling attack damage, even with the buff it wouldn't have overtaken the Crystal Demon's Greataxe. Although it has the highest base AR in the game its lack of Strength Scaling means that the Demon's Greataxe quickly surpasses it.

Just so everyone was working from the same list it was decided that the only minibosses that should count were the ones on the Dark Souls wikidot page, which I've linked in the description. I know it seems a bit arbitrary since the ones you've listed operate in exactly the same way to many of the mini-bosses in the challenge but on the other hand there would have been far too many points available otherwise.
