I bet if the Iron Golem skip was known at the time the run would've gone to Gwyndolin for darkmoon blade then back to iron golem to get a true one shot

Revisiting this after 10 (oh my god) years. Others came after Somethodox. They have better edits, they do challenges that are far more crazy than anything we could imagine 10 years ago - and still, you were the first one to introduce me to Dark Souls challenge run scene. And for that, I am forever grateful to you. I really wish I could watch you curbstomping Elden Ring. Well, guess that never happens, huh? Still, I hope you are alive and well, and I wish you best of luck. For me, you are The Legend. And Legends Never Die.

It's been 10 years and I'm still revisiting every now and then. This is by far my favorite Dark Souls series and possibly one of my favorites on youtube overall. Very atmospheric, very educational, great to compare some new school runners trying this challenge to. Absolutely love it, and hope Somethodox is doing good in life right now.

Y'all can rest easy, I think Somethodox okay and alive, just hasn't been interested in making videos for the past 9 years. I looked up the gamertag in the "about" section and it seems like games have been played at least up to a couple months ago.

back again to rewatch the series that got me through my first playthrough. anytime i felt stuck or lost i just came here and watched you demolish bosses with an enormous stick and a tiny health bar, 10/10 super satisfying and encouraging
