I was thinking about using that song for awhile now and when I plugged it into the timeline it fit perfectly on it's own. I didn't have to do any special editing or trim the song at all so I figured that was a sign it was the correct song choice.

Great job Vageta. I've seen hundreds of Dark Souls vids, plenty of challenge run stuff, speedruns, etc... but this is the best series of Dark Souls vids I've ever seen. Great series. Intro was great. Best thing you could've done for an intro. I love that in RPG's. That sort of life-cycle of a character. Starting out as a simple Hunter, then levelling up your character and by the end of the game you have this really powerful character that can take on anything. Great series vageta.

No better way to end it your DS playthroughs than to start with the calamity ring and go full glass cannon(and with no shield use). This was incredibly impressive. My god, what a fantastic let's play. Your music choices during the boss fights was nearly always a dead fit, and made watching those boss fights that much more entertaining. The intro was well done. I love that song. The song for Gwyn's fight (in-game) is actually one of my favorites in the game, but Welcome Home fit the ending surprisingly well. I actually found Gwyn easier to fight without parrying, but I just don't have the timing down and was using a Chaos Gargoyle's Halberd+5 my last time through. He's still pretty easy to hit with dodge attacks.

Man..I actually watched this entire run. For me, that's saying something because I'd rather play a game myself than watch others play it. But this is a great series. I hate last episodes, endings in general, final goodbyes and things of that nature. I guess I just had too much of it during life. Always makes me sad. But, I guess it's true what they say - all good things must come to an end. That said, you made this ending awesome. The intro was beautiful, and the music top notch, as always. I see how you time it so that the change in game sequence matches almost perfectly with the change in motif in the song (a very prominent feature in this video.) No problem... yeah it bugged me until I did some research and found out what caused it. It can be used to your advantage though, like if you speed up a section, turn it back on and you get a cool motion blur effect. I'm still going to be playing DkS from time to time, but I want to play some other games too, for example Mark of the Ninja and XCOM: Enemy Unknown.

I've watched some LP's and it just looks too slow to be enjoyable for me. I have however messed around with Shadow Tower Abyss using an english patch and it seemed pretty cool, it's not as slow and it's a bit weird which I like.
