RIP Chris Cornell. Soungarden was always one of my favorites, as well as Chris's voice in particular. My choice of their songs throughout this run made this extremely obvious I'm sure. It's always sad when our musical heroes pass, but this one hit me pretty hard. Kurt, Layne, Scott and now Chris... Eddie is all we have left, we need to have someone keep a close eye on him!

Very well said man! I was coming back to rewatch this, but had no idea you had posted this. My dad raised me on Soundgarden and a lot of other music from Seattle, when I first saw this, I just thought it was the perfect mixture of my favorite game and all the music I grew up with. So this playthrough has become a huge part of Dark Souls experience, the content you put out was and is a part of this world for me. I know it's a bit late, but I just felt the need to say something of value, other than these morons who have no idea what the fuck you are talking about. Take care man!

It can allow you to take an extra hit or two which ups your survival in general. For low level runs it can really make a difference, especially with the heavier armors.

Best play through I've ever seen! Seriously. You intertwine the music perfectly to spice up intense parts and even though its not the type of music I would normally listen to; it is perfect for the themes. You speak very clear and don't sound like what most "gamers" do in their videos but more like a public speaker/announcer. You don't beat us over the head with info but do tell us the important or uncommon things about the game. I have definitely learned a ton from you. Rock on brother!!

I work at an precision optics company that is part of a larger corporation named L3 communications. We do all kinds of projects, but the most recent notable one was the mirrors for the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). It hasn't launched yet, but it will be replacing the Hubble in a few years and will be able to see 3x farther which basically means looking back in time 3x longer. I personally worked on the project for about 5 years, but it had been going a few years before I started.

You have just earned yourself another subscriber. But, I have to say why, I feel that you need yet another compliment. First of all, unlike MANY other commentators, your commentary actually has content. You actually say things that matter, instead of trying to be funny and quirky all the damn time. And secondly, you listen to TOOL. I honestly want- no scratch that, need, to high-five you. Way to go, man. Keep on providing quality content! Thumbs from Denmark!

Faces in the creation menu don't always look like you expect in game. Making the eyes big actually balances them out once you start playing. Since I'm playing an assassin I darkened them up a bit to keep up the theme. Also the dark around the eyes makes them look smaller, so making them big helps to offset this. If you notice my face as I'm fighting Quelaag they don't look as huge as before.

The path from the Depths after the Gaping Dragon takes him right to the area where the Iaito and Shadow set are, whereas the path from the Valley of the Drakes is a short cut (normally accessed early by the master key but he used the way through New Londo Ruins) that would involve him climbing all the way up to that same spot through multiple enemies.

I didn't really try to make her look like Yoruichi, but since I used purple hair and she's ninja like it seemed fitting. The reason I do the big eyes and dark around them is with the thief's mask that's all you see so they stand out better.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm also able to watch it on my android, I just have to load youtube on a non-mobile browser. If I try to watch it with the youtube app or a browser that loads the mobile version of YT, then it's blocked. If I simply use a browser that views pages as normal then it works fine. Not sure if Apple users have this option as I don't know much about them(don't get me started on Apple products..), but there's probably some sort of workaround.

I'll be showing deaths of course. What I mean by practice run is much like the other video. I'll start up a character and test things out to see what is possible. Once I get a feel for the difficulty then I'll do the run where I actually record. I wanted to see how feasible it was to run through blighttown backwards but had no clue if it was even doable at such a low level using basic gear. Had I just assumed I could and recorded this playthrough, it probably wouldn't have been very fun to view.

I didn't know at the time but apparently this may be possible. I believe the pointer has been found and you can theoretically start a fresh game and immediately turn it into ng+7. This run through will be interesting to watch dispite my preference to see a cleric run through. Although, I still think this challenge is comparable to your SL5 naked run, if not easier. Pulling aggro on those bugs on the walkway with a bow from the swamp was a good tip. I'm sure some will use it. And, nice texture change on the ninja set!

I would like to see you go through the undead burg now and fight the bridge demon and armor boar. They were my favorite mini bosses on my very first play through.
@vageta31112 жыл бұрын
I know, but I wanted the Hunter as my base class anyways since they start with the bow. I didn't want to start giving myself all kinds of different items, so just swapping the hunter armor with the black leather was easy enough. Plus the hunter armor is just fugly.

Extremely well done. I liked the new format especially. People enjoy seeing how amazing you are at the game, but (at least for me) your commentary is what made me subscribe and continue to watch your videos, rather than play the game myself! Keep up the good work! My only suggestion would be to break up the videos to be a little shorter to make them easier to watch in a sitting. Maybe 20-30~ min videos in the future.

loved the video as usual dude, seems like a fun way to hit this challenge, as for the armor the changes you made are fine, as for the original none of the things you mentioned would effect a ninja as you ideally would not seem them before the strike anyway, even most of the gold is thread and not reflective. :)
