No that's no why the kiss didn't work... The movie explained why at the beginning. Only a princess can break the curse, because lottie's Dad was the Mardi gras King she was the princess for the duration of Mardi gras, so at midnight when Mardi gras was over she no longer was a princess so her kiss wouldn't work. The same goes for the end of the movie, the reason the spell broke was because upon marrying Naveen she became a princess. so when they kissed and met the requirement of a kiss of a princess breaking the spell. Tiana literally says that you kissed yourself a princess.

That entire theory about why the kiss didn't work is total BS. The reason it didn't work is because Naveen had to kiss a princess and Charlotte was only one for certain time period. When the clock hit 12 her title was gone. Not "the magic wore off at midnight and they were stuck like that forever but Mama Odie decided to change them back" like?? Did you even WATCH the film??

Problem there with number one, is that Lewis could only “talk” because the main characters had become frogs. They understood animals for that reason. All other regular people could not understand Lewis.

funny thing about voodoo spirits, they aren't good OR bad. it's a weird, and very very grey, in-between. Plus, most voodoo spirits are actually spirits of humans that passed who don't wanna pass on due to their deaths either being very sudden or...caused by someone else. example, say I'm down on my luck and i call upon a voodoo spirit for help in my job as a construction man. i get the favor of a spirit and they push me in the right steps to get better, making my life easier. So, i decide to share this spirit with a coworker of mine. But things go verrrry different for them. As the spirit that helped me is now TORMENTING my coworker, because they may be dishonest or have traits and characteristics that the voodoo spirit remembers from someone, they either hated when they were alive OR relates to a person that caused their untimely demise. Also, as seen in this movie, the nature of a voodoo spirit affecting the living world depends on what they are assigned to do. The more malicious the connection, especially when you're indebted to them, the more leeway they have to do some pretty nasty stuff but the more mundane or true of heart your intentions the less involved they have to be to a point where it turns into a "meet me half way" kind of deal where the spirit can show you the path to take but you gotta be the one to walk down said path and only when you get close to your goal can they really start helping.

They fooled him. The friends on the other side. It was evident that everything was a divine plan of destiny with these two couples. Everything happens for a reason. Positive and Negative are complementary forces and it takes both to grow, learn and appreciate life. With just one it would be no growth it would be the same all the time so yeah they fooled him I don’t think shadow knew really what he was dealing with because everything isn’t what it seems. They was testing shadow man he didn’t do what was right and once they knew his heart as soon as the deal was broken he got what he deserved. That’s called Karma. That’s a universal law everything abides by but I watched it and I loved it. It’s positive and negative in everything and it’s different levels and forms of magic. It’s how you use it. Life is magic because we animated and walking around when you speak or SPELL that’s exactly what it is a spell. Cause and effect. Everything’s magic.

I think it’s more that he was merely a Broker of sorts rather than a mere boker to the loa. They do basically the same things, in that they make deals with the less fortunate that seem to hurt them, but unlike facilier, they actually have good intentions behind them as they merely want them to learn that they still need to put in the effort to truly reach their dreams. It’s very likely that they never intended to take the souls of the people of New Orleans but rather they made Facilier think they were interested to further teach the protagonists the lessons they needed to learn. No doubt they expected him to fail and knowing he would never learn or better himself decided to simply give him What he deserves

No Louis has always been an alligator, he learned and loved jazz from the passing steam boats in the bayou and tried to play with them but it never worked out.
