the lyrics are about the inconsistency of life and how its always changing.. sometimes you can logic life, then chaos happens where you can't logic anything, then its logic again..life is an everchanging energy, ever wondered how something seemed so solid, had the potential to change?

Letras Gentle storm, thundering silence Inferior force, uncontrolled calm Vital unlike, logic, chaos, logic The tone of which his birth ascend The beat that of a heart descend Repeating in the infinite An insight made it clear Order stormed the surface Where chaos set the norm Had there always been balance? Surely not Therein lies the beauty It was solid Yet ever changing It was different Yet the same So I starve myself for energy The song around his soul will bend The notes that in this hole will melt Crawl out of science A dreamland if you dare Disorder clawed the boundaries We're ordered to stand clear Was it always different Never the same? Therein lies the beauty It was solid Yet ever changing It was different Yet the same So I starve myself for energy As there were no witnesses There was nothing to be told As nothing could be grasped The story could unfold Superimposed on the elements of anger Fear, anxiety, hate, despair, remorse So break from all that fear, hold fast Exposed, now turn to all you lack Let echoes be the answers Return from all the screams Wordless now, the last attack So silent, it hurts to listen Was it always solid To never change? Therein lies the beauty It was solid Yet ever changing It was different Yet the same So I starve myself for energy Fonte: LyricFind

I do not know much about Death metal, and I have listened to very few songs, but I always tell fans about this song.And every single Death metal fan agrees, that it is an absolute classic, and the vocal can really sing, not just scream.And the flanger really does add to the emotions in the song ! One could easily understand the song purpose and meaning, without even knowing the lyrics !

Some fans are just too close minded, they expect to see their favorite bands fixated in the same theme, or producing exactly the same music... I like what DT has done on this album, The clean vocals, the lyrics, the music... everything seems perfect! it was very courageous of them, and true DT fans should show respect because it's easy to keep repeating urself but it requires true artist to constantly develop their music like what DT is Doing!

I think it speaks of the thoughts of the first man, just molded and full of fear and confusion, as the Creation unfolds around him out of Chaos. That's how I interpret the lyrics.
@Kazeshini256637 жыл бұрын
I almost see it the same way, except that it doesn't just speak to the first man, it speaks to everyone in this day and age. Our lives today are so confusing, arguably the most confused we ever were. As we no longer focus on survival, we focus on fulfillment and with all the systems in place today we can understand why there's so much conflict, because no one is sure anymore of what is truly right and what is truly wrong, what is truly necessary and what is truly a waste of time. We see this as wrong, but it's not, it's the beauty of this paradoxical world of ours
@clFer7773 жыл бұрын
I think It's a timeless point, in short "Had there always been balance? Surely not, Therein lies the beauty" That fight between chaos and order put the World in movement. And a World in movement is what it's beautiful
