Those heavily armored soldiers in the first video are not robots, there astartes, genetically modified super soldiers in service to the "Imperium of Man" Alongside regular human soldiers, primarily, the "Imperial Guard" in a galaxy that's been in constant conflict for roughly Ten Thousand years. As for da other video, those were reapers, ancient machines trying to destroy all life in the milky way galaxy, that energy field was a secret weapon used to destroy them. Thats the 101 of both videos, hope it was useful.

Warhammer 40k set in the year 40,000 where there is only nothing but war the humans or the imperium of man for that matter faces many different enemies ranging from alien xenos like the orks tau eldar and necrons to the demons of chaos that's coming from the warp also those large guys arent robots there guys called space marines heavily modified humans to be fast agile and resilient and warhammer 40k lore is rather really deep so I guess your just barely scratching the surface from that video edit oh and the setting takes place all over the galaxy rather than one planet

There is literally a giant tear in the galaxy in the current 40k setting and every imperial world have suffered a attack by daemons basically. Even the holly throne world of terra has suffered a daemonic incursion. And there's currently dark eldar raiding parties, tyrnaids, Orks and chaos warbands going around fucking shit up.
