Married couples is one of my favorite tropes. I especially love a marriage in trouble. You hit a lot of my favorites. I really like Love Her or Lose Her by Tessa Bailey. The couple has been together since they were like 14, but now they barely and the heroine feels really disconnected. Great story!

Marriage in trouble (second chance romances) and marriage of convenience are my favorite romance tropes. Especially love them in historicals. Scarlett Peckham is an author I am really intrigued by.

I loved married couple romances, especially when it's a second chance/marriage in trouble story. It just feels like there is so much more at stake.

ravishing the heiress by sherry thomas is so good. she fell hard for him at first sight, and he was resentful because he already had a girlfriend and the betrothal ruined his life. super angsty and romantic.

Very first book and I hooked because Ive been saying that boyfriend should be reading all ranges of romance books FOR YEARS. Ive been saying this for years. And to be completely honest if a guy can get through the romances I have on audible and on my book shelf and doesn’t look at me with horror, he is the one for me. 😂😂😂

I once read a book called "Stelllar Attraction" that had this trope. A plain (in her opinion) woman named Nikki married this very handsome man named Jason(?). She was very insecure in the relationship because of this, and nearly dumped him when she smelled a perfume on him when he rushed to her side during a miscarriage. It was an unwanted, rejecte advance by one of his coworkers. It took some time, but there was the required happy ending for a Harlequin romance. It was cool....

I love already married romances as well, just haven't read many! Do you like Barbarian Romances? They tend to lean toward that and they can be enjoyable reads!
