She never deserved any of this. However there’s also a lesson to be learnt- NEVER chase a man. You’ll only attract weak and cowardly men who’ll initially do what you want, but it’s not what they truly want. In the end they’ll do what they want, but they may not have the courage to tell you and you may not know what extent they’ll go to hide their deeds…

You dont know abusers are abusive untill you aready been abused. Or are you one of those people who think a guy will hit the girls the first time they meet, she knows about it & makes a concious decision to get involved? No they are the sweetest men untill they have gotten you under thrir thumb, you live with them, isolated from family & friends & often are pregnant. You live in his house on his income. All made like that by him. Thats when it slowly starts. And physical violence is the last part. And it can be extremely abusive without physical violence. Domestic abuse includes emotional - mental abuse & economical abuse/control as big parts of a abusive relationship..

Women have to be careful. Not " reading the room" , not understanding that her husband had different goals from her and wasnt keen to have a child let to disaster. Its no excuse for what he did of course. When a man " checks out" there usually are signs ,sometimes women ignore these. Painful as it is, its better to just let such men go.

Yeah well we don't know maybe he liked like he wanted to at first and then they said Laci was deliriously happy but I doubt she was if she was arguing with her husband regularly and expecting a baby just because she smiled in a photograph means nothing to what goes on off camera between couples. He was sabotaging the relationship she probably sensed that but focused on her baby instead women don't always like to think the worst until it's too late and they get trapped in domestic abuse or in her case killed.

Thousands of men daily get women pregnant and choose to have nothing to do with their child, they don’t kill them. Scott wanted to keep an appearance up of being this really decent, loving father and husband and it’s cringe. Anyone capable of something this cruel and disgusting doesn’t need excuses made for them, there’s worse things going on in the world than your wife getting pregnant 😂

I think when a woman sees that her man is not on the same page to start a family she should not do it either way and should instead find someone who wants that with her.

Its not victim blaming to say women should not go ahead with their plan to have a child with a man who is reluctant. At the very least he wont be a good father and at times worse happens like here. Some men when desperate will do the unthinkable.

Amber is lucky, she's lucky he didn't kill her. Men like him are capable of anything. Imagine if Amber found out first and confronted him.... he'd have felt threatened and done something. She must have been so scared known what she knows, havingnto do those fake conversations. Men will lie even when there are photos. Obviously being a cheater doesn't mean you killed your spouse but it's a motive.

Hmmm the thing i notice about these husbands who became murderers is that, as they wanted to cheat and live a life of a bachelor, they dont wanna divorce their wife, mainly because it is their safety net, that picture perfect of a family to show everyone that they are just a normal family like the others. they wanted that, they also for sure are enjoying the thrill of the deceit that they are doing to their poor wives. EVIL! pure evil

Watching this case develop around a young wife pregnant with their first born and how husband destroyed them in such a manner as what Scott Peterson did is so deserved of The Death Penalty, both fitting and appropriate. As one Juror stated had she not been pregnant she may well be still alive today, that I do believe.

2002- California - 27 year old Laci Peterson became pregnant in 2002 and one day she met with tragedy and went missing and Scot Peterson was the husband. Police learned that Scot Peterson had an affair with a woman named Amber Frey who did not know he was married and later told Amber that his wife had died when in fact Laci was pregnant and at home. When Laci went missing on Christmas Eve Scot told police he had gone fishing and Laci was eight months pregnant and she was at home. Then Amber Frey contacted police and gave valuable information. Next three months after Amber went missing, in 2003 Amber Frey gave a media conference and described her relationship with Scott Peterson. Then a a female body with the head missing and parts of a unborn child was found separately in the bay in the water. Later police held the view that Scot Peterson also planned to kill his mistress Amber Frey to stop her giving evidence against him. In October 2022 after nearly two decades on death row, he was moved off death row by the California Supreme Court after the court found that some jurors were improperly dismissed for disagreeing with the death penalty and a State Judge is considering whether Peterson deserves a new trial. In December 2022 California judge rejected a bee murder trial and Peterson continues to languish in jail.

Scary thing is...he did everything very well. If it hadn't blown up so much within media, he might have gotten away with it. He also counted on body probably being eaten by sea life. But with public pressure, they had to nail him which made LE to make sure they tie it together well and they still struggled given how many people think his guilt was not proven.

I hear all the comments in what he should of done after finding out she was pregnant, but what we as women NEED to learn and RESPECT is if a man doesn't want children NEVER get pregnant for that man.He will hate you and his life, you may even end up like Lacy. Talk BEFORE marriage and decide whether you can live without having children and just call it quits and move on there is someone else you can meet and have a happy family life with

This is exactly my outlook on this as well. I can't believe people don't talk about such an important thing before marriage, becasue some people don't want kids at all. What confuses me even more is WHY he got married in the first place if he hated the idea of commitment.

Exactly. There are so many cases where the woman knew their husband didn't want kids yet tries to get pregnant anyway so that there's nothing the husband can do about it. If you want a kid and your partner isn't ready for one, leave instead of forcing him into thinking he has no choice but to agree. Now this is not at all saying that her murder is justified but people should only be having kids when BOTH parties are ready and not just one

@@artisthusnatalal3099 I accidentally fell pregnant by my then fiance and he was excited about the baby at first and I wasn't. He convinced me to keep it since we were planning on getting pregnant 2 years later anyway. He did a 360 change on me when our son was born and suddenly monogamy wasn't for him but the thought of me being with another man was too much for him. He threatened my life several times and now uses our son like a pawn. Men are scary sometimes

The fact that he has Lacy's picture hanging on his wall demonstrates his total lack of remorse, he obviously feels nothing when looking at her, it doesn't haunt him at all and he likely does it to appear innocent. A murderer should not be allowed to hang the image of their victim on the wall of their cell.
