Check out the case of Murderer Kouri Richins in Utah. She had a great life with her husband Eric Richins. She was working at Home Depot as a checker when she met Eric. He and his best friend had started a very successful masonry business after college. She had tried to poison him before. The 3rd time she murdered him with fentanyl. He had gotten suspicious and secretly seen a divorce attorney, was trying to protect his 3 sons and be able to get custody of his sons before moving out so he could take them with him. He was right because at a bond hearing yesterday, she had taken out life insurance policies on the children. It’s believed she was probably going to murder them for money. She became angry with Eric because he would not buy her a 20,000 square foot home. The day after he died, she bought the home and had the audacity to have a party there.😡

This was very well put together as was the entire gruelling work done to bring justice to victims and families. Thank you for making this available for all the hard work and dedication and heart. I think this would bring some comfort to the grievous families. Maybe after some time as it would take a long time to think about something so horrific and relive the pain and suffering of losing someone, especially in this way. As others have already pointed out, this is not my idea of justice. A premeditated murder, desecration of a body by the murderer, robbing an innocent child of his mother, and all the rest. The sentence does not reflect an adequate punishment for such a horrendous crime. Not knowing how the NZ laws are structured regarding Capital murder makes me think it is possible to take another person’s life and receive a mild slap on the wrist kind of punishment. Not justice.
