I found the runaway complements the leper really well if you upgrade hearthlight to remove ally blindness and smokescreen which sets a combo token that allows the leper to ignore blindness.

Firestarter w/mastery on plague doctor using magnesium rain w/mastery means an 8 burn whole enemy team dot that can be used twice for 16 burn dmg across whole enemy team. Speed tune your guys with trinkets if needed and the +25% burn chance trinket on PD helps a ton. He can still heal and stress heal in between rains

Jester is a must for my runs because of his ability to inflict blind, weakness, and combo tokens. He and the runaway make a great team because you never have to waste a turn moving them back into position. I was using her Searing Strike and Ransack but I might have to try dropping Searing Strike and picking up Dragonfly.

Thanks for the guide! For future heroes, I would love to see a small section on what the upgraded skills do. Info on that is a bit scarce at the moment but I feel like that's really important to know.

Agreed, I had to have someone point out that the Ounce of Prevention has a stress heal with the upgrade. Same with the Man at Arms, the ability to give him riposte x2 on an upgraded Standing Tall? (can't remember) was a game changer for the end game boss because he was gaining guard (because of an item) on the hit and getting more attacks in on those locks was dope.

Really important thing to consider about hearth light is it also pops all dodge tokens. Really useful in cultists I find.
