I was running a setup where a had 3 poweful and 1 focused hero, but my run was ended around 250 kill due to swine god critting my leper from 58 hp down to 0, and then wilbur promptly killing him right after it. I want to ask, how do you get to such high kills without suffering such extremely unlucky situations?

Last time I went with an Abomination to the Farmstead I found out he could transform once. For the whole mission. I hope they changed that

i havent tried it but cant he just tranform once per segment? i realized with the highwayman buff that you can use it once per segment but the buff disappears after exiting combat. however you can use it again after the segment. it'd be weird if abomination couldnt use it again at all

@@infinityvy When CoM dropped I just finished my thrid run of the game and didn't spend much time there. New content, yeah, but I was burned out with DD and was setting up my next FTB world. Abo is my fav hero, and then I found out that he can only transform once per mission. All the way until you are back at town. Once. As I said, I hope they fixed that. I am not up to date with the patchlogs, and BC killed the game for me, I haven't been there for a while.

They never get hit with all the dodge buffs + the stuns + one shot, and for healing, he still has end battle bonuses (food or so) + the antiquarian has quite decent heal, sometimes it's 1 HP but sometimes, it pulls u back to full health or nearly so! And the pest guy also his 4th character has a small heal if really necessary.

@@bim7779 or probably edited the game files to always get virtue and a specific one , and throw in some higher crit chance , lower the monster crits , anyone can do it , it's just sooo unrewarding , and clickbaity for people who actually wanna like play vanilish

Four virtues with no virtue chance plus trinkets is 255:1. Plus, nearly full inv...idk. Anything's possible, but seems a repeated force close on unfavorable results til you get bored and leave because it goes on so long it is no longer fun. However, it's possible. With four virtues, perfect comp, playing smart, is there really a limit to the kill count? Unless RedHook has or will implement something to force runs to eventually come to a screeching halt after a certain point, there's no ceiling on kill counts.

Four virtues are easy with jester just allow them to reach 100 stress in splendourous (yellow) color only and only one at by one , so if it affliction you can easily stress heal to normal quickly . Also you can start quest when town event gives +15% virtue chance which makes it even easier .

cant you see the lantern in my inventory thats 20% virtue chance, also I ditched the hero ring another 25% midrun because I have 4 other heros ring on this file , so I had a total of 70% without splenderous :)

How to you deal with bosses and enemies with high defense stat? I always get f'd up by monsters w/ shield :(

Abilities like "Pierce" from the Shieldbreaker or "Pick To The Face" from the Grave Robber have armor piercing effects which will ignore the prot. stat of enemies

The occultist has a - PROT debuff.

And for the shield (im guessing guard) the jesters dirk stab bypasses guard meaning it will hit the intended target regardless

yes at 85% virtue chance with lantern trinket 20% + hero ring 25% + virtue base chance 25% + splenderous light 15% before it got nerf , this run I left at 2k kills , but I rerolled another run with more town buffs and I got now 4 focused virtues going

Honestly it went pretty fast Id say two stream of 6 hours maybe , this group was able to kill very fast no stalling needed . The pattern is pretty much : Kill two enemies and stun the two others first round, next round kill last two , and with the two other characters buffs and stress/heal. Rinse and repeat

@@uobilo yeah abom is so op in this mode; Didn't need to rest/heal hp/stress on the run with the miner; Even with having to stop the battle, and then recast transform, the abom crits so much that their stress level stays around 20~;

Plague Doctor is necessary for his buffs on abomination,his cure disease camping ability and crowd control(the two stun skills) Jester is kinda obvious.He heals stress.A must have,if you are attempting to go endurance mode in endless harvest.His camping skills do the same and give a nice acc+crit bonus. Occultist can act as a healer, stunner or debuffer to mitigate enemy damage.One of his camping skills, helps remove death's door debuffs The abomination acts as a frontline sweeper.Transformed, he can target rows 1,2,3 and double attack row 1,2.His rake ability(double attack)also buffs itself the more you use it.Paired with camping buffs(25% damage and 4 Speed) and the plague doctor, he is guaranteed to always act first (+14 speed on top of his base and possible quirks) Early on, with this setup, you must farm virtues in splendorous torchlight with a hero's ring trinket and the tentacle idol. Powerful and focused are exceptionally good on abomination and plague doctor respectively.The Jester and Occultist would be nicely paired with vigorous, but literally any virtue will do.Stalwart will be the occasional extra skill of a Jester,Vigorous a small heal buff, focused a free accuracy trinket and powerful a free damage buff trinket. Due to the long duration of the mode, you need to carefully decide which trinkets should go with whom.The ones shown in the video should be your final setup and eventually the right trinket will come to replace the hero's ring(since you should have successfully farmed the virtues).Virtue Chance trinkets are necessary for the setup. The quirk of this strategy is not to overly rely on the Occultist for RNG moments(crits are coming and they keep on coming). At the beginning it will be unavoidable, due to virtue farming. You should try to make the abomination a mob grinder as soon as possible(all the buffs, all the virtues and all the camping skills should be focused on that).Then spam rake to kill any and all mobs. Jester likewise should ideally be used to buff accuracy, crit and speed(battle ballad) and only use stress relief to keep the stress of the heroes in check.Plague doctor exists to buff Abomination and subsequently buy him time, by stunning the mobs so that the abomination can kill them, before they get a turn.The Occultist should do the same, but he will also be keeping the party healthy, while you go on to farm virtues. Inventory management isn't the focus here,so don't occupy valuable supply space for shards. Leave some slots open to remove stress increasing trinkets during camping. Use your supplies wisely. That is only against very dangerous enemies(Skiver,Virago etc), oh shit moments (a nasty crit or 2) and bosses. Every supply consumed now, is a supply denied later. That's also why a Plague Doctor is important for this setup(curing bleed and blight). Laudanum should always be used.It prevents 8 stress, the equivalent of a secondary stress skill. Have fun!

yeah, notice zero response from him - he responds to everyone else but not this very simple question. I mean it's possible the game just bugs out after so many kills and awards nothing but if that were to happen it's likely due to multiple mod conflicts. Who knows what mods he was running too; it's impossible to really know.

The "shards earned" counter at the end checks how many shards you have in your inventory- as you can see at the start of the video, OP did not pick up any shards, electing instead to keep a fully supplied inventory- as evidenced by the beginning of the video, where he throws away 45 shards. Still not 100% proof that it's not faked, but there really isn't anything to "prove" that it's real other than if OP was to show you the original savefile in person.

@@jigglefloyd lol I was running no mods , my file is vanilla not modified, I just find it funny how everyone think I'm not legit , I won an official endless harvest contest at that time, devs watched my whole video and I wasnt cheating I got virtues by unstressing my afflictions many times, swapping virtues trinkets. This is on darkest difficulty btw not too hard and its prepatch before they put the extra light conditions after 500 kills I think .

What make you think it was suspicious ? The virtue part ? The fact I got alot of supplies ? This is not bloodmoon btw its darkest difficulty and you might not see it directly in the video but I prepared all my 4 characters have the 2 town buffs -20% Stress and +20 % Dmg from Praying and Flagelling in town.
