Romancing Sa-Ga 3 has such a great battle theme. I've played literally hundreds of hours of RS3, and I never tire of it. Incredibly addicting even though it's a pretty short theme.

100% agree. Nobuo is overall the best and most original composer, but Kenji Ito is the master of battle themes, and even if people think Sakuraba does awesome battle music it always sounds the same, he is actually better in area music like dungeons and towns.

blara2401 You've forgotten Hiroki Kikuta : best ambient themes (after Uematsu) and best opening/ending themes IMO. And sorry but Uematsu's character themes are far better than Sasai's ones.

I actually find Yasunori Mitsuda to be more enjoyable that Nobuo, though I do still greatly enjoy his work.

Kenji Ito battle themes sounds like Vladimir Cosma music IMO. (i'm not making fun about, i considerate his music as very good).

@andretatontos Seriously, I don't think people could handle it...there would massive fan/eargasming across the world, some deaths by so much epicness, etc. xD STILL. I WANT THAT TO HAPPEN. Get all the great video game composers together for one single game and see what happens. :D

I think Nobuo is the best RPG composer, but Kenji Ito is the best Battle Theme composer, seriously, yeah even better than Motoi Sakuraba.
