In my opinion Substitute + Hypnosis is a very fun set. Might not be the best set but if your opponent lets you get up a sub you are very likely to put something to sleep while being behind a sub.

I have found Darkrai to be fun under gravity in doubles since gravity makes dark void close to 83% accuracy. Paired with throat spray/snarl and tera ice blizzard makes for quite a powerful special attacker with +1 boost to special attack, blizzard not missing under gravity and your gravity setter having helping hand

The reason is doubles. Dark Void is a spread move. Using it in VGC with an 80% hit rate gave a pretty solid chance of sleeping two of your opponent's Pokemon with one move.

Darkrai is ironically worse in OU than it is in ubers, becuz ubers is much more, how should i say, very few pokemon r used, meaning u always see the same 12 to 20 ish pokemon, that means that darkrai running dark pulse and sludge bomb generally hits everything(sludge bomb for xerneas, dark pulse for everything else) but in OU theres more variety, theres shit like kingambit and great tusk which wall both dark pulse and sludge bomb

I think darkest needs his ability changed rather than dark void. Make it where if a mon attacks him they have a 40 percent chance to sleep or something. Maybe you could restrict this to either physical or special moves too for balance. And since darkrai isn’t bulky to begin with this shouldn’t be too op.

Darkrai is solid, but ou is crazy enough right now that I think it’s fine. Scarf is a decent revenge killer but kind of mid honestly. Nasty plot (or just not choiced in general) is the better set I think. You have to be careful about being revenged by the booster/weather mons of course. I kinda want to try sub 3 attacks honestly.
