I remember back in like 2000 we wanted to learn darkslides so badly, but just couldn't afford to ruin the griptape. Shit had to last, cause we basically had no money.

Whenever a darkslide lands on a rail I feel kinda anxious, as if the board would break in half and the skater would smash his nads against the rail... Another kick-ass video Jonny.

That rotary spinning contraption you showed during the warmup is fucking gold! I love the sound collection. It's perfect to keep the grindy parts interesting and diversified without being to dominant so most people should fall into the "trap" to keep engadged regardles of their music taste. Overall a good video. Btw. that front angle of the landed trick looks smooth af.

Rodney Mullen is who got me into skating. Every time I tried darkslides I noticed heel flipping into it was a lot easier and let me put less pressure on my board when landing on it.

Tommy Quinones Good work. I think you might’ve nailed it earlier if you rode the darkslide all the way to the end of the rail just to get the feeling of it. A lot of the times you looked very uncomfortable/unbalanced and in a rush to pop off of the rail. Taking the slide to the end, without actually trying to land wheels land, would’ve given you a better sense of balance. And I could never do this trick anyway.
