@@tactical1981 Street and vert, which is what this really is, are two entirely different forms of skateboarding. I know exactly what you’re saying. I skated street all of my youth into my early twenties at a decent level (sponsored) and vert skating blows my friggin mind.
@danpreston5647 ай бұрын
I was a skater back in the 80s. All my mates did street, because it was there in front of them. I did that too because it was fun but vert was where my heart was. I had a thing where I could start on a 2 ft high bank in our local shopping centre and and teach myself a trick and then take it to vert without much thought. I was the first person I knew to do Ollie blunt 180s and Ollie blunt shuffles on vert. Vert just felt natural. My Achilles heel was backside airs though. I hated them and it turned into a complete mental block meaning that all of my runs were lips tricks and frontside air tricks. I had to stop at age 19 due to a very bad hip injury and I miss it every day.

Why aren't you putting the entire men's qualifying event and the entire men's semifinal event up on video? What is with these 10 minute highlight things? And we don't have the men's semi finals at all. What a terrible look. You should know already that most skateboarders aren't very happy about skateboarding being in the Olympics, and your withholding of real actual video of the events doesn't help. It makes you look like you don't know what you are doing or don't care about skateboarders.
