9.0.2 Frost DK PvP - 52% Mastery - Obliterate Drop

I disagree with how you are making DK look. These big numbers have to be on players in questing greens, with the stars aligning, and you are popping both zerking and saltwater potions. Notice the biggest crits are on that DH, Most players on the forums and in game, myself included, are not experiencing anything positive about playing 2H DK in pvp or pve. We deal very little damage, take it like 2 year olds, and heal for just about nothing. All the while, hunters, rogues, Spriests 3 shot us and others, even with defensive CDs, and take no damage at the same time. I am currently at 171 gs, with a 190 wep, stacking nothing but mastery and vers, (granted not as much mastery as you) fully enchanted, and although am top 3 in the random BG normally I deal NOWHERE near those numbers on average. And if you watch closely the majority of your oblits don't either. Most of both your and my oblits are hitting on average a bit over 1k and critting at 2k, and once in a blue moon hit for 4. Please don't get me wrong, I love you, I think you are one of the best DKs on youtube, and I consult your guides all the time. I just think this paints 2h frost in too positive a light and doesn't give attention where it desperately is needed. Frost needs a survival buff and a majority of the cast needs an astronomical damage nerf, or DKs need a buff to damage to 3 shot players and take no damage like the rest of them.

This is so true, the few Frost DK's out there are either rooting for breath spec or saying that 2h is fine cuz they are scared that it'll perform better than 1h. I gave up on waiting and just rolled paladin and I'm not regretting it, 20k templar's in pvp is where its at and you can heal yourself from 10 to 100% hp with 2x word of glories.

For average joe like me my FROST gameplay can’t compete with UH gameplay. My old man reaction times don’t allow me to play frost optimally, you have to have a team or partner who is ridiculously coordinated to make frost live. I want to play frost but alas UH allows me to stay sane on the battleground

@L. A. I've been bouncing between the two and I gotta say, ret has been improved. The covenant abilities are far more interesting than the DK ones and you have a few more cooldowns to throw around other than wings for once.

Especially when pally does 10k with just judgement or any other class that one or 2 shots. DK is nothing and has no immunities like bubble or ice block or even evasion/cloak or hunter shell to counter these one shots. The game is in a joke state I hate everyone that’s getting excited from watching this video lmao have u actually played the game

@@jinx4729 alright buddy, I've been able to do a pretty good job with the current setup. I'm able to get a pally to pop Bubble or LOH with my opener. At that point, I try and heal and keep up. Sometimes you can surprise them with your Dragon of the gods, potentially killing them or you die in a game of endurance. I find that if I do a good job and force them to spend Hp on heals, I am that much closer to potentially killing them. With the 40% bonus to Vers, I feel like I can do enough. I try and keep them in Magic Zone to counter that huge damage buff they get with their opener. Sure we aren't OP, but it feels a lot better than BFA. I foresee some heavy balancing in the near patch, DKs will most likely be left alone...while Pallys, Hunters and Rogues will most likely be on the receiving end of the nerf bat...and rightly so.

So basically, we are now a mastery cap class because i tried for 3 hard days and it is not working out on 2H. at 35% mastery you do not crit over 8k simply with everything lined up and barely getting any KM procs does not help that case. I guess until i see that cap i will stick to UH.

@@darksword1337 Yea it sucks, i believe that's why there are so many grumpy negativeness around it myself included. After those 3 days of trying it became apparent to me that the problem is having a certain stat cap or having certain conduit. 16crit-9haste-35mastery-11vers did not work. 13-13-35-13 still the same under-performing. And when i commented on Xodas video he said he was getting higher numbers and i believe he is running 42-45%mastery something and he said he had 6%crit, which now probably explains why it does not perform unless that cap is reached.

Commenting after a couple seconds in cuz just annoyed with PvP lol. DK dmg feels about how it should be, but even less for slower pace would be good. Most classes can throw out 10k+ like candy and 27k under the right conditions just like that 15k hit, watched snupy do it on feral. This incredibly stupid fast pace and one shotting was complained about in bfa, however it’s your class doing it now, and not rng, which i guess is slightly better lol? But the classes that truly have an advantage in this kind of pacing is ones with immunities to counter the one shots. Hunter shell, pally bubble, rogue cloak/evasion combo, Ice block, etc. DK just has to eat that shit and it’s not survivable. It’s pointless to even use death strike cuz doing damage is a better defense at this point. I still manage to have somewhat fun in bg even tho it’s a premade every game. But this shits wack man I just can’t get behind the “luls I killed him in a global” thing. That’s not really fun lol it’s kind of like using chest codes in a game until u get bored and realize you’re not really playing the game. And this pacing only gets exacerbated in arena with double sub or MM hunter it’s just absurd
