Don't forget, Edgar doesn't even try to get the sword back. He abandons his blind daughter to guard a sacred sword but it's already been taken so he just sits around. Then when the player shows him they recovered this sacred relic he's just like "rad you can keep it".

@@HiddenRealm most reasonable reason is that she escaped with someone, they both safe for awhile and she ask them to help her with writing the letter. Unfortunately, after that. They got ambushed and only she managed to survive and the letter were finished just before the ambush begin.

The simple answer to this.... she wrote it herself. How do I know this? Because she literally says my eye sight is WEAK not nonexistent. She also says "I saw this..." and "I saw that.." a couple of times when talking to her. So she isn't totally blind. The blind fold makes it seem that way sure but its a video game and blind folds are part of character customization so they just gave her one 🤷

I did every quest on my first except dung eater because I killed him and goldmask it's too hard for me without googling but I used the miquella needle thinking I could get touched by the three fingers again so I was forced to do rannis.

I like your mention of Yura being completely missable. It was one of the few NPCs I more or less totally missed and couldn’t do any of his quest line for because of this exact reason. @@EnvoyOfRot We can be sure because Hyetta doesn't appear until Irina dies and the quest cannot progress without it, whether she stole the body or copied it, doesn't matter, in both cases she pretends to be someone she's not. Basically the way the Frenzied Flame works from behind the curtain to try to draw you to it's cause, similar to how Shabriri took Yura's body.Hyetta wants to be a finger maiden and interestingly enough, the only one with whom she fulfills that purpose is you and through you, no accidents or coincidences here. Also not every corpse stays or disappears, it seems to be pretty inconsistent in the game.

Two things: 1 You can summon Edgar for the boss fight if he reads Irina’s letter, so he actually puts in (some) the works 2 there’s several mines where the misbegottens use the miners as slaves, so basically, they were just jealous of the blind slaver girl boss being better at the job

7:11 Let me tell you what's fun... My first run (I bought the game at launch), I took the usual route: I ignored Blaidd and killed Darwill alone (because I still haven't met our Big Boy Wolf), I found the beautiful region Weeping Tutorial, I talked to Irina...then I got lost , I ended up on Caelid, so I tried to fight Margit (killed him easily)... I ended up having a hard time on Godrick, to the point I really hate this guy... he puts swords on birds and he's a piece of shit, man). When possessed by hatred I defeated Godrick, I took a vow to defeat every damn Godrick-related thing I encountered. So I decided to help Irina, and send the letter to her father... but I couldn't find him. I clear the castle, take the "Iron Throne Sword"... and then I met Edgar... who said that he was ordered by Godrick to protect the Sword treasure, and he must protect the thing about his daughter. For some reason, the game didn't count that I already defeated the boss, so I have to equip the sword, literally show my sword to Edgar, who said that he will live happily with his daughter... who died. Edgar is on his knees crying and swearing revenge... So I equipped the Grafted Sword and beat him to death with the sword he chose over his own daughter because Godrick said some BS to him. POETIC! Then his spirit invaded me in Liurnia... and I equip the same sword again hehehe.
