Martyrdom Eviscerator is my favorite build that i used months ago (back when i had gamepass to play the game, sad) and it just fills me with so much adrenaline to use it, to feel so close to death but with the great need to take everything else down first before i go. this vid brough back some good memories

Where did all the monsters go? AI Director on break? Trying the Mk3 Eviscerator again since I forgot that it got Opportunist in the last big patch. I'm not quite sure how it stacks up against Rampage in mixed horde situations since Rampage works on everything unlike Rending but for the run itself things fell down quickly enough given enough Eviscerator swings. I brought the Flamer just for some crowd control but I didn't really min max it too much (could honestly swap Everlasting Flame to Overpressure or Penetrating Flame based on preference).

Opportunist is rending against staggered. How do you stagger them with Evisirators they don't strike me like high impact weapons. Or fury of faithful applies stagger?

@ fury mostly and on non-crusher/mutants the Evisc does enough to stagger on repeated hits even against ragers I’d wager. Mostly just fooling around to get a feel for it in a live round than a vacuum in the Psykanium. I think I’m leaning towards Rampage for general consistency though moving forward.

Tried a build based on this in a couple of runs and damn the attack speed increase on the eviscerator is noticeable, SUPER FAST compared to running it with blazing piety. 🙏

Yeah, since Eviscerators have Shred you can safely drop piety while keeping roughly the same crit rates Martyrdom is just bonus damage and haste at that point.

I'll consider it, there's so many things that I do subconsciously just out of muscle memory that I'd have to sit down and think about what is or isn't common knowledge. I think a few creators that I'm friends with from the private playtest environment might've already made a few (Reginald for example)

@@U.U-lw4ee haha guess I just have big hands (hand span is left pinky on left ctrl can reach Backspace with left thumb stretching hand diagonally). I've pretty much just used ctrl as crouch for most if not all of my fps gaming history.

Do you ever run any other build on Zealot besides martyrdom? It’s pretty sub par compared to the other 2 keystones, but i suppose it has its fun

The 3 keystones all provide damage and survivability just in 3 different ways. I consider all 3 equally worthwhile but I simply can't get enough of the extra damage and haste at low hp with Martyrdom. I do use the other 2 in builds but it's probably closer to 50% martyrdom, 40% Inexorable, and 10% Blazing in distribution. Blazing is when I want to use a weapon that has decent crit bonuses while not really needing to think about survivability thanks to Enduring Faith and/or Stalwart. Inexorable Judgement is for when you want to zip around everywhere but it caps its damage and haste bonuses at 15% compared to Martyrdom's 48% damage and 24% haste. Inexorable is more of a safety net in comparison. Martyrdom also giving a constant 39% toughness damage reduction at 6 stacks means you functionally have active toughness mitigation almost at the level of Enduring Faith without needing to crit. (On top of getting Enduring Faith's 50% when you do crit for even more tankiness) As was the case in this run where I took the least damage out of everyone, if you don't need the extra mobility and dodge from Inexorable then Martyrdom is just so much more damage and haste. Thanks to Shred and Invocation of Death I also functionally had Blazing Piety's safety net for proccing Enduring Faith without needing to commit to the keystone.

Is there a reason you didn't take the two charges for Fury of the Faithful for this build? Maybe I'm just too used to playing with that node, but I feel like it's much more useful as a source of toughness regen - but obviously you got along just fine without it!

Since my Eviscerator has Shred and I put a point into Invocation of Death the extra charge for fury isn't needed since I crit often enough. I can pop fury frequently from that while Martyrdom gives so much toughness damage reduction that you are ridiculously tanky at low hp as long as you don't lose your cheat death from silly chip damage or letting an overhead get through.
