It's a vicious cycle, which is why I wonder why he bothered to play it at all... If you try the game for like a few hours and you end up disliking it and get bored of it so much, that is fine, but I just don't get the point in continuing playing it.

There is actually 2 problems with the mission on PC. One, the up and down are reversed. That one at least you can fix with a remap. However, two, which is a lot harder to diagnose, is that the normal frame rate control messes up the display making it super inconsistent what it wants. Trouble is, if you switch that option, then driving is all messed up as it constantly brakes. So most people just keep it on the driving working option and not realize it is making this mission super hard as the display is basically useless. Funny enough, this is not a problem for the very similar dance missions. Their feedback seems to be okay, or at least working close enough that it doesn't actively confuse you.

But tbf i did play the game a lot, even recently, and i never had a problem with any of these things like for me the mission and the driving worked at the same time and when i pressed up it actually did go up. I don‘t know if it could be cuz of a few things installed like Silent ASI and so on but … idk at least it never happened to me, even back in the days, which is why i thought he just always hit it off center

@@cronus-kumo Depends which version you have I think. I definitely experienced the problems on the steam version even with mod fixes installed (and the mod I eventually had to remove as the game became unplayable about 3/4 through for unknown reasons). It was all kinds of messed up. The various mods out there sometimes can fix most all the issues on, while in others versions you have to find work arounds. The frame rate option in particular was devious because reports about it were very mixed, some claiming it wasn't a thing, others swearing it was a thing. I had been stuck at around 900 in the game even with the reversed control fix, then decided to test the frame rate and suddenly went to 3000 with ease. Pretty sure it is a matter of people having a good multiple of the FR or not to experience the issue. So my guess would be you're on one of the better versions that the mod can fix more completely or had a better mod version than I did. I know the mod I was used claimed it would repair all kinds of things it actually didn't so I suspect the version was incompatible even though it seemed to be the right one.

Few years ago you could buy OG PS2 version (which is the best version if we consider no heavy modding) of GTA: SA on any PS console that are younger than ps2 and play it in fullhd on LCD tv with much more stable fps and etc and it was awesome. But it was so back then, few years ago R* deleted all PS2 classic versions of their trilogy prior to the release of defective edition. I understand that people hate these editions so much not onlu because they are bad, but because Take-Two and R* are shoving this garbage into our throats removing all other choices but to play DE or not play at all. Matto is lucky to buy this gta sa few years ago, but now his only choice would be to pirate this version and this is crazy what developers and publishers are doing to their legacy

Everybody blasts on fools then ask questions later is a cyclic process in every GTA series. As I played the game for a long stretch, I find Smoke to be a seasoned gangster as his views on gang management are well-defined when CJ does missions/interaction with him and Smoke ends up talking about book and its double standards - "we are blessed and cursed", self-centered instead of cooperation - "drive thru mission - smoke eating food rather fighting opposition gang. Smoke's intentions were clear when he moved out of CJ's Grove neighborhood.

Gta SA is definitely my favorite game, but then again, I never played Gta 4. I played Gta SA as a 5 year old (my brother let me drive around and walk around) which was 14 years ago, then Gta V, then this game but this time for real. I never finished the game because my brother saw that I have been playing this game for a week, so he wanted to play a little bit of nostalgia too, then he lost the controller. Even after replaying Gta V again after some Gta SA, even though I enjoyed Gta V and I can't say it's a bad game at all, I still say Gta SA is my favorite Gta. I think the main reason is because Gta V is too focused on story heists. Gta SA just lets you make money on your own time to get rich, and at the same time you have more fun with these little minigames that make you tons of money. The gist of Gta SA being better than Gta V is that the fun isn't completely dependent on the Story Missions while at the same time making the story missions fun.
