I think you are a very special person. I appreciate all you do to keep it light. The world needs more people like you! I am sort of a "news hound", which means I follow the events in the world and sometimes it can get very overwhelming and depressing....but then I just go look up one of your videos and it brings things back into perspective. Thanks for being there Darlene. And I'm sure I'm not the only person out here that actually needs what you have to offer. You're awesome.

I do nearly the same thing. I make up my meatballs per usual. Then I boil them in 6 cups of water with two packets of onion soup mix. I boil them for about 15 minutes and set them to the side. Then make up a simple simple gravy with the “stock” used to cook the meatballs. 1/4 cup butter 1/4 cup flour 2 cups meatball broth (2.5 if you want it a little thinner) I don’t add any additional salt to the gravy since there is already salt in the soup mix. I then add my meatballs to the gravy and simmer about 5-7 minutes. Serve over mashed potatoes and it’s fantastic! My kids and husband love it.

I made pork pie for this New Years! Haven't had it in a few years.... my Grandpa taught my Mom to make it... but I haven't made it in the last few years.... certainly missed it. It will have to become a staple again for New Years in the future! Thanks for the memories!

If you put the meatballs in a crockpot with grape jelly and barbecue sauce for 2-3 hours it's really really good

In Sweden it is called frikadeller/quenelles when you cook them. When you fry them they called meatballs. ;)

I bet they tasted delish! My mom always soaked the slices of bread in milk....she said it made soft meatballs. I've always used oats. Never thought to boil meatballs though! I will definitely give this a try! :)
