Nice memories I was sometimes there Saturdays 74- 78, I would take the Bristol or Liverpool train to York around 8 ish in the morning.

I started spotting there in 1975 and the only pre-tops numbered locos I ever saw were peaks... so it's pre-75 ... and it's err 'Darlo Bank Top' station as it's at the top of a bank.
