@@daviddavidson2357 Please do not use art for unlawful purposes. It makes abstract painters like myself seem like I'm trying to use my art for intimidation. I just want you to see what you think you want to feel it is. Smearing paint is fun. Finding out that a baddie is still in your home after you illegally wasted your last two rounds of pheasant hunting loads is most certainly not. It you use your weapons lawfully to protect your family at home I'm sure the art you create with the baddie's soul, heart & blood could make a decent Jackson Pollack kinda-sorta.

This right here is why I will always try to buy older firearms than brand new ones!. They're way more unique build and function wise and there story is usually pretty damn good. I had a chance to shoot a $75k dollar shotgun once and I will never forget that just amazing craftsmanship and the inlay work was beautiful!. Edit: It was hand made by Purdey if you wanted to know and again one amazing shotgun!.

Not really all that surprising to me. Compared to a standard break-open shotgun, it looks like it would be heavier, take longer to reload, and was probably much more expensive.
@Jesses0018 жыл бұрын
It is listed as being rather light, it should be just as fast as a break action, but I can not imagine a way to affordably manufacture that thing at all. All the cams and tight action, all I see is money burned away at a milling machine.
@Erreul7 жыл бұрын
Well it is very cool, and I'd buy that for sure. It's just a lot of extra steps, and stuff, when other guns were being sold a lot simpler.
@JonatasAdoM7 жыл бұрын
+Regolith Exactly, way too complex compared to a break action
@phoenixinvictus98807 жыл бұрын
Another thing is that when reloading, the hot shells would be extracted directly towards your firing hand. You can move your hand of course, but this style likely wouldn't allow as fluid a reload as a break-action.

That actually looks useful. I'm not too experienced with break action shotguns but this looks like an improvement over a normal double barreled shotgun. I like to sit and fantasize about there someday being an action videogame or movie set in an alternate early 1900's that features obscure but interesting guns like those that you have highlighted but in that game's world they were successful designs instead of the designs which feature prominently in our history. Perhaps if such a game or movie would be developed you could serve as a weapons advisor!
