Darrell Brooks started Monday's court proceedings by snapping at Judge Jennifer Dorow, who denied his motion to challenge testimony from the state's expert who examined the vehicle that crashed into the Waukesha Christmas parade in December 2021. Brooks told the judge that she was acting with prejudice and said "you need to do your job." Brooks was removed from the courtroom after the judge said he is trying to disrupting the proceedings.

It’s so ridiculous how he throws a fit whenever he doesn’t get his way. He legitimately thought he would find a way out of this. Then the further the trial proceeds, the more he starts to panic. He realizes he wasn’t prepared and he’s really screwing up, so he starts to pitch a fit and stall. This fool really thinks that just because there’s a recall, that’s automatic proof that he should be let go. It’s amazing how far removed he is from reality. @chrisflorez3090 Don't know about the US, but in the UK, drivers are very much liable for ensuring that any vehicle they drive is fit for the road. For example, someone with brake failure who ends up colldiding with someone else would be crucified on that point. If the car had such a major defect on it (that was known about and recalled over), and it was still being driven, that's fully on the drivers for using a dangerously unfit vehicle on the road.

When she instructed the bailiff to take DB out to the other courtroom she should have said,”Mr. Brooks, this is me doing my job. How do you like it?” Of course, she wouldn’t. The job she did in this trial was beyond reproach. She didn’t give the poor attorney that has to deal with him while working on being granted an appeal one moment of improper procedure to use. Facing that narcissistic manipulative sociopath while dealing with a most terrible crime would have sent a lot of judges looking for ways to get out of it. Judge Jennifer Dorow is the finest example of how to preside over a courtroom. (Two courtrooms, really. One for the work to be done, and one for the Time Out room.)

Exactly!! At the scheduling for sentencing he was yelling and throwing a tantrum over her saying he didn’t have shock restraints on. She then removes him to the other courtroom and when it’s time for him to address sentencing and he wants to get it pushed out he’s all polite and proper. Your honor this, your honor that, if it pleases your court, with all due respect…..he is pathetic!

The Judge is walking a thin line..I think She is doing a good job. She is trying to explain things so even an idiot can understand the law. He is just proving His ignorance and Guilt.

He is willfully ignorant. He believes in the sovereign citizen legal theories and totally rejects the existing legal system. That is a choice he made.

@@frankw7091 he only started this sovereign citizen thing for this trial. I have a feeling he’s just going by what someone he met in jail is telling him, and he was dumb enough to think it would work.

No she's not. Lol what are you even talking about? Just because he pretends to not understand anything means nothing. He has proven he can read, write, and understand what's going on. Refusing to break down everything in detail doesn't matter. He waved his rights to a lawyer. If that puts him at a disadvantage that was his own dumb ass choice. She is being extra cautious to insure he doesn't get a mistrial etc. It's not walking a fine line lol

@@limpx336 you’re right, but i think OP is also right in saying she’s walking a thin line. he’s looking for any way possible to call for a mistrial and delay the proceedings, therefore she’s walking a thin line throughout all her actions to prevent what he’s doing. he’s constantly on attack.

Thank you! I agree with you. He is trying to blame everyone and everything except for who the blame lies with... Himself. His inability to control his anger and his lack of respect for other people led to this. He should not be among the rest of society. He is a danger.
