The trial of Darrell Brooks, the Waukesha Christmas parade suspect, continued on Day 8 with more testimony from witnesses who were at the Waukesha Christmas parade attack.
On Day 8, the court was moving along at possibly its quickest pace yet. The state called five witnesses in the morning, and Brooks had nearly finished his cross of the fifth before severe weather interrupted the trial.

The most heartless, disrespectful, evil person. Unbelievable how someone can have absolutely zero concern for any of the victims. The deaths, even of a young child can't move any emotion. Humans that are this self absorbed and have so little empathy should me separated from society. We are a civil species..and this person has no civility at all.

@@Nick-ei8ltthey never made him aware of a deal … the deal that was also turned over to the PD was 6 consecutive life sentences so he never really had a deal…. He was arrogant enough to think he could rep himself and foolish enough to think that he could use being sovereign .. I honestly don’t think he was smart enough to understand anything about an appeal process… I’ve watched this over and over again and Darrell Brooks doesn’t understand law in the least … his only tactic was trying to discredit the witnesses and to get the jury to feel sorry for him …. He's a fascinating study. Unfortunately for the rest of us, there are tons of sociopaths out there. But this guy is the cherry on top. His childlike stubbornness, tenacity, selfishness, and his twisted sense of fairness is really something to watch. Most sociopaths are more intelligent and mature than this guy. He gets absolutely fixated on one tree, and misses the entire forest. He focuses on one battle...never seeming to realize that he's already lost the war. For instance, he focused on winning small legal technicalities, never seeming to realize when he gave his closing argument, that he had just spent the last 3 weeks alienating and infuriating the jurors, the judge, the victims, and the American public. He so doesn't understand genuine empathy, that he only periodically made some sort of effort to fake it. Sometimes when he was watching the actual footage of what he had done, his eyes reminded me of the someone who is pulling the legs off a spider.

Not attempting to upstage any victim, in 1995 my 19 year old daughter was killed by a drunk driver. Sarah Louise had her life taken by an inconsiderate person. The worst day of my life was viewing my Daughter's body before the funeral service and kissing her cold forehead. A part of Me died that day. To the many family members and friends of the Lost and injured, of Waukesha , in our Father's house there are many rooms let not your hearts be troubled. This Circle of ours shall not be broken. Hugs and prayers from a 77 year old Vietnam Veteran from Whitehall Pa.

Twenty five years and no one can do anything about it. My son ,like your daughter did nothing wrong and was a boy on a bike. They didn’t know him. Life for my son has been terrible and I can’t fix it, I feel many of these parents are going to experience the same and their children will live with pain that mr. Brooks wanted to impose on these victims since he says violence needs to be imposed on white people.

After the Defendant is convicted, he will appeal. When he appeals his conviction, the high court will look at the judge's treatment of the Defendant. The only conclusion the high court can come to is that the judge was brilliant and handling the case masterfully (see fododude). The judge is carefully protecting the Defendant's rights, knowing that by doing so all avenues toward a successful appeal will be shut down, and the convictions will be affirmed.

We have a memorial planned on November 21, a Monday. And we have this year's Christmas parade planned for December 4, a Sunday, in the same time slot as last year. Anyone from anywhere is welcome to attend - I expect to see a HUGE crowd. Many who were there last year are going to be unable to attend, because the emotional injuries are that deep and last that long. But if the rest of us - fellow residents like me and well-wishers from all over the planet - will come out in solidarity against the type of terrorism, the people will be gladdened and the Sovereign Lord of All will be blessed! It’s interesting to note that he greets his ex and asks how she’s doing during his cross examination of her but for all the other witnesses, the parents of children and the people hurt by him directly he just launches into his BS ATTACKS.

YESSSSS! I noticed that also. He also gets enraged when the female officers testify & badgers them more. IF EVER THERE'S BEEN A MONSTER IN MY LIFETIME IT IS THIS IGNORANT POS!

This alone proves to me that he is guilty because IF it was an accident, you would be absolutely filled with guilt, remorse and wouldn't be able to apologise enough.

@@sharonknevett9699 good point however in the case of folks with high levels of narcissism or narcissistic personality disorder, even if it was accidental, they are practically incapable of remorse or accountability so his behavior would be the same unfortunately. It’s extremely frustrating. 😤

How utterly stupid and insulting to the intelligence of the jury for him to repeatedly ask the question about the State of Wisconsin being the Plaintiff and not appearing in the trial. "The jury has a right to know"?? They do know very clearly that he is a complete moron.

Watching this the day after the verdict. He did a great job for the prosecution. Voyeurism springs to mind at the attention he paid to the videos and the pain he was putting these witnesses through.
