These arguments really wind me up for this reason bale was a premier league football player for half a dozen seasons more or less and won pfa player of the year twice when he was playing for an average club like spurs🤣 he went on to achieve greater things at real madrid my point is yes trophies won and longevity is important but there are several top players who played outside of the premier league for the majority of the career they had like ronaldo for example also won more at real madrid however I think it is harsh to say bale and ronaldo are not premier league legends because of what they did when they were playing in the UK 🤔
