​@@TheJohnCooperShow That's the manager we should have spent over 400m on. He has levels, players wanted to sign for him and he knew he needed to change the club as a whole. All Levy want is a yes man. What he did with that Spurs squad is a miracle, im not surprised at the fossil football at the end, because players (except for Kane and Romero) weren't good enough. Maybe Hjobjerg and Perisic was alright? But Bentancur was injured, and Son wasn't as good towards the end (3 goals, 1 hattrick, and 3 assist when Conte got sacked). We had an aging Lloris, and Forster. Skipp, Bissouma, Davies, Sanchez, Dier, Lenglet, Royal, Doherty, Sessegnon, Spence and Tanganga was our defense (never had Udogie and Porro was brought in at the very end of January. Yes, Levy). And we had Gil, Richarlison, Bergwijn, Kulusevski, Moura, Danjuma as our attack. I may be missing some, what he did with that squad is amazing especially when he style of play is defence. Remember we were still fourth when he was sacked (when yes, Spurs bottled a 3:1 lead to Southampton).

After the first ten games last season, Spurs have been found out. We must have played some fifty games in all comps and the results have been terrible. Ange has not tweaked the system and has not shown any signs he will do. I do believe however that while Enic and Levy are running the club, things will not change.

The issue is its too intense. you cant play in the prem at the intensity he wants for a whole season. We play fine with a full squad but we rarely have a full squad of 1st team players because theyre always injured. Reason for injury is, you get tackled when playing at a much higher intensity youre more likely to be injured. VDV for example playing a 6'4" player at right back in this system, when you just look at him and see how much stronger he looks. Well let me tell you that tendons no matter how much you train, eat or whatever remain the same size your whole life strengthening only makes them stiffer, less flexible. You can fight back with stretching but you cant stop what happens naturally. So much higher intesity, much taller and in a full back role going up and down is just too much for him. As we all know, you can often feel the pain sometime after you actually injured yourself, same with players, the time of injury is often sometime before a player actually goes down.

You cant play Ange Ball every day, sometimes the players have to learn to park the bus, you have to adapt and change and read the game. Ange believes if you attack and attack over and over you will score but football is not predictable.

Agree. Spurs do not play with a genuine defensive midfielder. This leaves them open to the opposition especially when both full backs go forward. Just look at Man City since Rodri has been out injured, they are now conceding goals. Spurs recently got a defensive midfielder, Archie Gray, but don’t play him or if they do it’s at full back. This is the problem with Ange ball, it leaves teams very open to the counter attack, it can be great but always trying to out score the opposition leads to the inconsistency we are seeing.

This has been a problem at Spurs since the 1980s or longer! I've followed them for 30 years, it's always been like this. You're asking a manager to build solid foundations on a swamp! Everyone is making out Ange as this tactically naive fool and putting all this emphasis on him to change the culture of a football club overnight! It doesn't work like that, especially at Spurs! Very lazy analysis blaming Anges system . To do proper analysis, you have to look at each individual game and in particular what was the lead up to the goals against. Check that and will find it is mostly individual player errors, particularly poor defending of the back post.

I believe in Ange. After this game he will surely adapt. He dosen't need to change his philosophy. Maybe tweak the system and be flexible but he should keep his roots. I love watching tottenham win lose or draw. I'm in love with this football club and I know success is coming NOW. I'm going to be there to see it. Very beautifully said mate! I agree. He definitely needs to make some adaptations but keep his core philosophy, it doesn’t have to be one or the other. I do think that losing against crystal palace and now Ipswich is not acceptable. But the man needs time and patience, he’s been here barely 1.5 years. The players also need to take accountability and responsibility for performances, it’s not only the manager. If they sacked Ange, there is no one else realistically who would come to Spurs and make a positive difference, in my opinion. Let’s go SPURS, we got to pick it up! 🙌
