During the Winter 2010 session of the Young Actors' Theater Camp, Darren Criss came to teach a master class and sing a few songs.

I think the best thing about Darren is that he seriously doesn't take himself seriously. His voice isn't perfect, but it's amazing because he knows how to use it right. He makes tons of mistakes, but he's a master at working them and making them adorable. It's all part of his charm. Darren wouldn't be Darren if he didn't forget the lyrics in the middle of a song and ask the audience what the words are, or stumble over the chords looking for the right notes. Haha, I love this boy.

Can we not focus just on his amazing vocals for two seconds and appreciate that at 2:10 , in the middle of the song, he just managed to do harmonics (which are difficult to do on all 6 of the strings simultaneously)

One of THE BEST performances Darren has given of Teenage Dream. I love how he adds a beat to the song by hitting his guitar and when he makes that sound at 2:10 on "my heart stops". So great!!!! I still like the performance when he forgot to turn his cell phone off. His reaction was SO funny and just added to his performance. :-) So Darren.

Something about the way he sang THIS performance gave me more chills than usual. It sounded so full of emotion, especially when he went high and got gentle with his singing. I don't know why, but it's there alright. Oh, and his glasses totally rule. End of story. LOL

@Lelumpolelum007 Glasses add another challenge to the lighting scheme of a set. You have to worry about not getting the multitude of lights reflecting off the glasses and hitting the camera. What you sometimes get are two bright white dots of light coming out of the glasses and you cannot see the person's eyes depending on which way the person positions his head. See watch?v=YTwqFFzKjEo#t=9m40s for an example of lights reflecting off of one's glasses.
