So beautiful Darren and so lovely to hear you .... xx Scent from Heaven, I remember when you planted the Iceberg and the Scent from Heaven. I adore Princess Anne. And the Poppy, my Mom loves Poppies ..the Alium is pretty as you say and the pond looks so lovely. Starlight Symphony is stunning ... POAK I love, and the Delphinium too ... Wow to the Clematis, it does look like a rose... Oooo I love the view to your house with the Bay Leaf Green Edward Lutens bench, I love your house and the red brick which is my favourite ..he lilac Clematis is so beautiful. I am thinking back to when I first saw your garden about 5 years ago or more ... what a paradise you have created and its all so calm and lovely. Olivia and the watering lady are iconic ... Desdemona and Munstead Wood, your favourite is a rose so rich and deep in colour .. the little pink flowers are unique, I love them, what are they called? Oh Crimson Glory, my childhood rose, my Mother's all time favourite rose with the deepest scent ever. Little bees everywhere, such a healthy garden ... Chives, I did not know that they bloom and have such lovely pom poms ... and the cushions on your bench are so beautiful. Darcie is also you favourite girl .. she is lovely ... and Benjamin Britain and Munstead Wood together are perfect .. I love the fountain. Darren you have created a masterpiece. I hope that one day you will paint your garden like Monet. Yes your art exists in everything you do ... thank you for sharing your wonderful garden with me.

Thank you for the week in your glorious garden. It is really all about the bees. Envy for your instead Wood rose. David Austin USA would not deliver this year due to quality issues - waiting until 2024 for her - fingers crossed. All the best to you and yours.

Your garden is looking amazing, 🥀The poppies are breathtakingly beautiful, and the roses... absolutely stunning 🌹I have to confess that although I love pink roses, they are definitely not my favorite. However, Olivia Rose Austin is my mother's absolute favorite and as such, I'm going to buy her a second plant and perhaps a few more of others ... Strangely they're growing on me as well! Happy gardening 🌹🌿🌹🌿🌹

1:09 Do not linger near the poppies lest you fall asleep! ☺☺ 1:43 My Eustacia Vye in here first year in a massive pot is cohabiting with English sweet peas, Eustacia made a respectable flush of blooms, now she is concealed to towering tall sweet peas emanating their sweet, candy like fragrance. As the sweet peas load up with seeds, and the Ohio heat wears them down, they shall diminish, and Eustacia shall increase into an autumn last hurrah before winter arrives and we shall then know, that these are the good old days. 3:36 Very pleasant, idyllic view. 4:57 Eustacia, a special scent and special shades of pink, strong summer sun fading the blooms. Oh Eva! Where are you you little cutie??💜💜 6:31 Yes, Eustacia with her heart radiating gold. 8:01 Crimson Glory evokes images of dreamlike , full, Victorian hoop skirts in burgundy/red velvet , not on a young woman/girl, but on a Queen Victoria type lady, .Elegant and confident and at ease in her world. 8:40 Oh happy Apis Mellifera! I began 40+ years ago to keep honeybees, I am in and out of bee hives dozens of times per year. Others are fixated on honey, I am fixated on their health and joy. 9:50 we get our photos when we must, but everything looks so much better in bright overcast than in the bright meridian sun. 10:00 Starlight looks like a rugosa?? Oh, speaking of things Victorian, my grandmother was born 1913. During the 1960, 1970 and '80s she lived on the ground floor, we lived on the upper floor of the 1890s farmhouse, we spent a lot of time visiting with her. She di many things above and beyond the average person, quite a loving grandmother, we are still here 50 years later. From time to time, she would mention how her mother, great grandmother, a country woman, would put on her whalebone corset, lace it up, then attach the cords to the bed, lean aay from the bed, rather like hanging on it, in order to tighten the corset/bustle. Natural beauty is pain free and effortless, synthetic beauty is very demanding. Growing up here in the USA, from time to time we would hear the saying "England is a nation of gardeners". I suppose that is true of the quintessential Brit, but perhaps not the modern Brit. One difference, the English garden is not so apt to get roasted in our torrid July and August heat.

Lovely Darren! I'm wondering if you could do a comparison video between Roald Dahl and Jude the Obscure? Also do you plan on growing Dannahue rose? I'm curious about her as well.

Roses look great Darren. Can I ask a question? How often do you feed the roses in pots and at what strength?

Beautiful garden. Looks fabulous. By the way the leaves on plants are foliage and not foil-age. Just thought you might like to know. Please keep showing us your gorgeous roses and garden. :-) x

Someone just posted this on a FB rose group ☹ "Went to the Hampton court palace flower show today and I asked about Munstead wood from the reps at David Austin stall. They said it won’t be available anymore and no more reds or deep colours for at least another 20 years. He said due to a breeding issue, their entire deep colours line is dead and they are starting all over again on deep dark reds. All future releases will be shades or pinks or yellow/apricots" Do you know id this is true?
