The home is indeed very nice. However, it's a bit of a stretch to label Porter Ranch as "Los Angeles," as it's in the NORTH San Fernando Valley, even though it's in LA County. Additionally, it's worth noting that there was a major issue with a natural gas leak in this area that affected many people. Furthermore, the monthly HOA fee is over $800. in stead of getting this i just got two houses for $20m in Beverly hills, that would be a better business for me now.

This house is not worth the money. There is nothing unique about it. For the price there should be larger rooms, elaborate bathrooms and large spacious closets. The closets are too small even in the kid’s bedroom. Maybe I am being partial... things are bigger in Texas.

Someone please explain to me why this house is more polished and dressed up then a lot of the $20 million dollar Mansion tours that I've seen. The home is a cookie-cutter style home in a neighborhood full of other houses just like it, but I've never seen a "cookie cutter" home that was this classy in style and design. I toured this house yesterday, and I was not at all impressed as far as construction quality and value. Obviously, this is an incredible, spacious, modern house on a hill with a beautiful view, and therefore mind-blowing in its own sense. But after looking at the details, I was appalled. For example, the flagstone over the fireplace and other areas are actually faux 2’x2’ tiles and the gaps are so big you can see them in the video. The railing on the staircase was flimsy. The kitchen cabinets in the model - their third upgrade - seemed less than IKEA quality. Simple, laminated fiberboard. The upgrade costs were outrageous - $30,000 for smooth walls compared to standard “orange-peel” smackdown, and that gas fireplace in the master suite was $27,000. The video tour itself was excellent. Darren is not cocky or over-selling. I'll keep watching!
